Luke or Han

Ok I have the PF exclusive Leia on the way and I have found some extra money to get either a Han or Luke. So thats were the dilema is which to get. I would really like to get both but dont have the money right now. Luke does look like he is going cheaper right now than han is but which do you think will be more expensive say this December or in February.
Also the Luke exclusive is going for about 50 more than the regular for those who have it is it worth it for the extra money. For Han he still in stock everywhere even Sideshow so I would guess he will be around for awhile and the chances of getting his exclusive for under 400 is almost impossible.
I would appreciate any advice about this.

I like them both and if you're not worried about the exclusive, then just pick up the one you can get for cheaper.

I would say based on looks I like han better. I don't forsee Sideshow running out of Han any time soon since it seems like they were really trying to push it at Comic Con and I think there is a better chance of catching one in future like Leia. Hell I just got Exclusive Obi of a wait list. Luke seems to be cheap right now and I dont see that continuing much longer so I would try and jump on Luke but take a lil time and get the best deal.

Ok well I dont plan on paying anything over 200 shipped for the exclusive luke and anything above 150 shipped for regular luke. Im watching one right now that I may bid on but it doesnt end til Sunday so Ill keep watching.

Im leaning moreso to Luke because he may dissappear alot quicker than han.

I wouldn't worry about getting the exclusives. Luke is a nice piece, but I think Leia and Han look better together.

I think I will be able to get a Luke exclusive or regular Luke right now way below retail but theres no way I can get a Han exclusive, which is really cool, anywhere near retail so I think Im gonna get a Luke.


Batty that is a good point about Leia and Han looking good together though. I will probably get Han around X-mas and then Obi and Vader probably around May of next year.

You should have no trouble getting an exclusive Luke shipped for under $200. I just picked one up a couple of weeks ago for $180 shipped. On the other hand, if you watch the auctions carefully, you might be able to pick up a regular version for around $100 + shipping. That could save you $60-70.

Personally, I like the exclusive better, not for the poncho, but for the different hand pose. It just looks cooler to me to have the binocs in his hand rather than on his belt.

I'm getting the Han to go with Leia. I don't need more than two Lukes and I know we'll be getting a Jedi version at some point.

By the way Loki, Entertainment Earth is having a sale on Han. Its only $162.50 but I think you may be able to find one cheaper than that on ebay.

Not exactly. The right hand on the exclusive is a different sculpt that includes the binocs in his hand. The regular version sculpt has his right hand empty. There aren't two hands that you can swap (as you can with Leia). I wish that had been the case. It would have made the exclusive even cooler.

Aside from the different hand, the regular and exclusive statues are identical as far as sculpting and basic costume. What makes you wonder if he would look funny without the poncho?

OK, I think I see where you're going. The exclusive Luke comes with a right hand that is sculpted to hold the binocs, and they are permanently attached to it. The binocs are not removable. The regular edition comes with a different hand sculpt, and as far as I know, it is not possible to place the binocs in that hand, even if you wanted to. It doesn't look like it is supposed to be holding them.

So, since the exclusive version will always be holding the binocs, it won't look odd, with or without the poncho (mine has no poncho on it right now, and it looks great). And, since the regular version can't hold the binocs, and comes with no poncho, it too will look fine (at least it does in all of the pics I've seen).
