Luke or Han

I say Han. I'm a fan of Luke as a character more, but I think Han looks better as far as the PF figures go.

Don't forget, there's another Luke coming in PF. And I think it's a safe bet to assume we'll get at least one more Luke and Han if PF before SS is done.

To those that have the exclusive Luke: is the paint job the same or an improvement than reg Luke? I could not find real clear pics of the exclusive one?

Tough one.

Like was mentioned, consider that there is already another Luke announced, and you may want to pick your favorite pose. With Luke, it would be no great surprise if a third came as well.

I would say the existing Han is a pretty definitive costume choice.

The current Luke is a "nostalgic" pose, from the famous twin Suns shot. If you like "before the storm" figures (like "fellowship" Hobbits for example), then go for this.

Both are currently an absolute steal bang-for-the-buck-wise, so you can't go wrong.

If I have to recommend, Han.

And personally, I wouldn't bother with the exclusive for either. I love the exclusives when I can get them at initial offering, but most are not "essential" to my enjoyment of the figure. Actually, these two are the only ones I missed the exclusive, but I don't worry over it.

I am going to get a Luke now. I am going to try and get the exclusive edition because I like the way it looks better without the poncho on between the regular and exclusive. I also will be able to rotate whether I want him displayed with or without poncho / hat. It will just offer alot more display options I think

I will hopefully get a Han by the end of the year. Hopefully they will still be around $170 when I get ready to buy one. Then I will have to bite the bullet eventually and get Vader and Obi-Wan.

Well I just won my Luke exclusive. I had to pay about $10 more than I wanted to but the shipping was really cheap on it and I am very happy to have it coming now. Ok so 2 down 3 to go on my quest to get the ANH pfs

Congrats! Luke was the last of the ANH PFs I had to get, and I remember the thrill I felt when I won that auction. When you finish this mini-collection, you'll have some amazing statues to enjoy!

I really cant wait to recieve Luke and Leia now. I am really happy to have these two and cant wait to get the rest. I am really looking forward to getting Han next. I was doing some pricing tonight and I looked up my 2 textbooks for my fall courses online to see how much I could save by buying them online. I already bought them from the bookstore and I paid $241 dollars for 1 used and 1 new book. Well tonight I found those 2 for a grand total of $137 shipped and they are both new. So I just saved $104 on 2 books. Im getting a refund tomorrow from the bookstore so hopefully Ill have a little more money. This might allow me to get Han sooner rather than later. :chew :chew

Yes and because I got my books so cheap I may be able to get Han in a month. I may even get Obi-Wan and Vader at Christmas which would be awesome. Now I just got a figure out a way to display these. I would like to display Han Luke and Leia together in a case and Vader and Obi-Wan in another.

I am happy with just the regular on this one because the exclusive is really up there in price. I now just need to get Vader and Obi-Wan and Ill have the whole ANH set. I might eventually get a Grievous, Fett and Luke & Yoda when I get out of school and am making money.

Both Luke and Han look really good IMO (if you get a good paint job). A lot of people bash the Luke PF because of poor pictures, when it looks much better.

You just have to have all three of them together!!!

Knock it off Gruson. Pics like that really sap at my willpower to only own one PF per movie (TPM Obi-Wan, AOTC Padme, ROTS Anakin, ANH Leia, ESB Luke, ROTJ Boba Fett) plus the two droids.

Well I was joking around with my grandmother yesterday about buying a Vader and Obi-Wan for me for Christmas. This morning she put $600 in my bank account for me so that I could pick them up when I could find them cheap for Christmas because she said there was no way she could find them and get them for me. Well Im really glad she did but I really feel bad I was just joking around with her and she took it seriously. Ive already asked her to take it back and she want. So now I have $600 to purchase Vader and Obi-Wan and a few months to do it. The question is do you think I should get the Exclusive version of either. I like the mouse droid but Im not sure its worth it.

Get the regular versions of both. You won't miss either exclusive. Save a few bucks and buy your Grandmother something nice or take her out for a nice thank you dinner.

I still cant believe she did that. When I got home from school this afternoon we went out for lunch. I still couldnt believe she did that though. I have to look on ebay to see if I can find any deals.
