I put my Luke on a Prometheus body. Thought you might like to see the results...

Now the head looks REALLY big.

it's a little bit of perspective , as well as the head being a bit over sized making it look worse than it is.
Mikey, can you take a shot from the front, with little to no perspective to show how it looks in person a little better?

Here is a Luke I have been working on. I swapped out the body on this one and repainted a resin cast headsculpt that I recently picked up. I didn't do to much detail to the hair as I am going to display him with the hood up.

I feel this is a big upgrade, no monkey arms and no suprised look on Luke's face. Here are a couple of pictures.

I forgot to mention, all the other repaints you guys have done to this Luke are fantastic!!

That's a great HS, where is it from?

I got it off ebay a while back. Not really sure who made it. I thought it looked good so I picked it up. I had to dremmel out a hole in the neck to get it to fit on the body as it was a solid cast.

Kinda lost interest in customizing and went back to model aircraft but i reckon i should start it again.

LOL Yeah Rogue you SHOULD get back into it, your custom sculpts are amazing..... You build the customs and I will build Tatooine, I'll do a massive photoshot and we can all have a beer and a pie.... :)

got my true type in the other day and swapped the old buck..................also shaved a bit off the neck to shorten it a bit & used the left hand that came with the tt.
i think he looks tons better now...........(yes i know the head looks a wee bit large now to some) but i really have no problem with it.

This is a great improvement for sure, are those the same boots as well? or a different kind?..they remind me of the medicom ones for some reason. I will have to do this mod at some point.

it is the same everything except the old buck and left hand. fortunately the hands fit the true type pretty good.

Was the head repainted at all?, the hair looks lighter then mine..maybe thats just from the light in the room or flash?.

no repaint at all, just the original modded a tad (body & trimmed neck)..............& i really debated on doing this but felt it was nothing but an improvement so........:D

Nice, so i guess i would have to grind down the base of the head before i plug it on a TT to give it a less giraffe looking neck?.

i just took a razor blade and made as smooth & strait a cut as i could (about an 1/8th inch maybe a tad more than that)........then just sanded a bit to level off the cut to match the tt adapter. dont worry about that too much because the shirt pretty much hides all that.........& the robe certainly does.
