This is the first package I have had shipped through UPS since the change from FedEx. It doesn't look like they picked it up today so we will have to see if it makes its scheduled delivery date tomorrow. They can always deliver it on Friday, so at least I will have it by this weekend! If UPS can't get it to me overnight like FedEx does then I may ask them to go back to good old FedEx. (Never thought I would say that...)

Yeah, I haven't had any issues with UPS since they changed but I might have it changed because of Fed-Ex delivering on Saturdays.

That's a good point. I haven't received my shipping notice yet, and its too late now, which means if the packet info is sent tomorrow I won't get Mace like many others until Tues. If it was FedEx I'd have a chance for Saturday.

Strangely Mace and Han were Fed Ex not UPS. I haven't even emailed Sideshow about prefering one or the other. The Fed Ex guy left them and took my note, so if they will do that and UPS won't, I'll stick with Fed Ex.

Mace and Han together would be an order of more than $100, so they would have used FedEx. Orders under $100 are going UPS, but anything worth more than that would be bumped up to FedEx. At least, I think so...

I had an order for just over $100 (shipped after the change) that went FedEx.

My Han/Mace order still says "order placed" and no shipping notice. I think Sideshow will be getting a call tomorrow.

When they made the switch, I asked them to keep me on with Fed Ex. However, I never asked for my "Han" & "Mace" to be shipped together and they did so without asking me (that's OK, I'm glad they did).

In my experience, Fed Ex. is much faster than UPS and costs much less in duties for us in Canada!

wierd thing was..... this week my SDCC prizes arrived via FedEx and Han via UPS.... it was pretty wierd.

Ok...I'm really worried now, the payment was pending in my bank account and now it's no longer there at all, not pending and not paid. And it still says order placed in my sideshow account, I think I'll send an email to customer service.

That has happened to me before. The pending charge is just a preauthorization to make sure that you have funds available when the real charge goes through at the time of shipping. It is just temporary hold on the card. Now and then, there is a delay in processing/shipping, and the temporary hold goes away before it gets converted to a real charge. They will just send the real charge through when it actually ships. I wouldn't worry too much.

Well my preauthorization on my credit card has been on it since the 26th. I think mines being held for double boxing. How long does it normally take for them to get to the people who request double boxing.
