The Interceptor is actually a very poor choice for this film as it had next to no screen time. Should have been the War Rig.

or even the car that Nux drove, since seeing how Max was hanging from the front of it for a while

They announced it on their twitter, can't find the actual tweet but people have been asking about how soon will we find out what's the new license and they said a couple weeks.

Probably wishful thinking it's MM, but NECA would be a great fit. They've been hitting home runs with their Terminator, Aliens, PoTA etc.

Be great to finally get the Interceptor we never got from WB/N2 Toys...

Wut!

Their 1/4 Predator is considered one of the best Predator collectibles made 2nd only to the Cinemaquette at a fraction of the cost!

Their 1/4 Alien is no slouch either.

Say NO to drugs. :lol

Paintjob and chocolate coin netting also blow chunks. I wouldn't say it's one of the best by a long shot.

Actually, I wouldn't even say the CM is #1. The SSC maquette and 1/1 bust should come before that IMO.

Seems very unlikely that NECA is doing Mad Max. Darklord Dave already said that the filmmakers don't want to license the property. And NECA usually picks up licenses so they can release product during the marketing hype. The Blu Ray comes out next month. If they just picked up the license now, they won't have figures on the shelf for 6-12 months, far missing the hype.

True, but maybe the licensors were taking a wait-and-see approach with the box office performance. HT sure doesn't mind releasing product after the hype has died off.

They are magical at getting unavailable licenses and the fact they are still making 70's and 80's movie figures proves they'll make toys from whenever if there is demand.

I know it's probably wishful thinking but MM would be so awesome, I bet they'd start with FR, but I would love a Mad Mel with doge and everything :lol

Also, a Furiosa figure, yeiah.
