Better than just copy and pasting AFI's even more generic Top 40 just for the sake of trying to impress people. :lecture More than half of his list are certified classics, regardless of what decade they were released or how much money they made.

EDIT: Just noticed Trank FF. :lol

According to Rotten Tomatoes ratings. It is 12th for all time. Wizard of Oz is number 1

I see. Well that's silly of course. What do you guys think of my eclectic Top 40:

Yeah, movies from Fellini, Wilder, Wyler, Ford, Jewison, Fleming, Lean, Huston and Truffaut show up much farther down the list. :lol

Toxic Avenger 1 > Dr. Zhivago

AFI's list is ridiculously biased against anything that came out after the the 70's. Of their top *100* only 12 films of the last 35 years made the cut:

Schindler's List
Raging Bull
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
Amadeus
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Tootsie
The Silence of the Lambs
Forrest Gump
Dances with Wolves
Platoon
Fargo
Goodfellas
Pulp Fiction

No Unforgiven, Braveheart, Shawshank (yes I know we're all sick of it but it deserves to be up there,) or Fellowship of the Ring? Come on.

Well, I get it, not everyone can be as cool and hip as us. :lol

Old farts are allowed to choose Great Expectations over Predator. :lol

But look what they're missing out on:

I enjoyed Transformers 1.

Transformers 3 skydiving scene I just use as a 3D tech demo. :lol

Getting back to FR, I will be buying on bluray, I just feel that it hasn't earned being in my top 40-50.

Just because it used practical stunts doesn't automatically make it a classic.

It has nothing to do with the guitar dude, I still feel that while IJ was cool looking he was under utilized, he could've been fleshed out more to be a better villain.

As is he's more MCU than RW quality.
