well that trailer pretty gave it all away.
somebody broke out big boi's ******** collection and he wants it back.

:lol

Yep, this is my most anticipated movie of the year. I think Hardy looks and sounds great as Max. I still miss Mel though. But if they have to move on and do it without him, Hardy looks like he is doing a phenomenal job filling in. So this is a reboot right? I can't think how this would fit in with the old timeline.

Dear Mr. Miller,

You had me at guitar flamethrowers.

I salute you, sir! :duff

What a film, what a lovely film!

All the trailers for this have been amazing. R-rated, almost entirely practical effects, crazy stories of stuntman peril going around the rumour mill - it's nice to have at least one film I'm genuinely looking forward to and that hopefully won't disappoint me this year.

I don't ordinarily go to the theater because I'm a cheap bastid, but I will go to see THIS. I will plunk down money to see this...beautiful carnage.

They had me at 'written and directed by George Miller', to be honest. There's also some crazy rumours as to the ending of this film going round which I really hope are true...

For anyone interested, there's a fantastic documentary called Not Quite Hollywood that covers the cesspool of 70's Australian cinema that spawned Miller:

(Fair warning: **** on any level)

Thanks for that, man. :duff

We're both looking forward to this but there are many who aren't. I don't mind this "reboot" because I don't consider it a replacement for the Mel Gibson films.

George Miller has made some great movies and I still think this could be one of them. Nathan Jones could easily equal Vernon Wells if his character matches the initial look seen in the trailer.

Is this officially stated as a reboot?
I would just hope it was the 4th in a series.
I love that Hugh keyes is in this!
Hot toys would be smart to jump on this and do old and new figures.would love an Interceptor with Mel Max...also the Goose and that crazy little feral kid from MM2..
