They probably should have just waited to reboot the franchise until after Mel's dead. It doesn't seem right to do another without him while he still breathes. If nothing else comes from this, anything 1/6 from the OT would make it worthwhile.

Eric Bana.

Aussie and a fan of the Falcon.

That does not look anywhere near like anyone with the cojones to play Max, imo. Humongous and crewe would break him in half, first try.

I'd like to have seen Worthington take on this role, he has the toughness to do it justice. The last thing this guy pictured looks like is "tough."

Voorhees: Nope, not Sam Worthington or Eric Bana. I'd rather they just leave the film alone.

Agreed that it should have been left alone, but theyre not going to LEAVE it alone, so lemons out of lemonade and all that.

Should have got Mel Back he is Max, could have had him older but more mad and crazy with a beard, killing everyone, its just not the same.:(

give him an Australian accent like Connery's russian take and he's good to go. he looks post apocalyptic enough on dog food diet.

Hardy looks like he has a secret stash of twinkies and cheesburgers.

lol

I'm actually pretty excited about Tom Hardy, but I have to admit that Eric Bana would have nailed it. No question, he seriously kicked *** in Troy (was the best part of the movie), and was badass in Chopper.
