Yeah he stole money from the company when he couldnt pay off England Revenue Tax debt, got caught by Don, was being forced to resign in disgrace by Don, he was going to lose his visa, he came home to find out his wife had bought him a new jaguar with what little money they had, went to the office, wrote a resignation letter and hung himself. He was discovered the following day by Joan, Kenny, Pete and Harry...:dunno

FIXED :lecture

Actually you guys left out the best part: When talking about Jaguar's it was mentioned a few times on the show by different people that they never start up. So after he found out his wife bought him a Jag and he decided to commit suicide in it (Carbon monoxide poisoning) he set everything up (ran a hose from the exhaust to his window, sealed up the gap in the window with a towel) but when he went to start the engine.. the car wouldn't start! That's why he went to the office and hung himself there. LOLZ! :lol

Tonight's episode was AMAZING. Really good. Lots I important stuff happened. Can't wait for next week.

Loved the look on Peggy's face when she saw Don classic .

no ****, she was all like ready to jump the other guys bones, and bang there's Don......:monkey2

another note, i think they're making Pete to be the Anti-Don, Don screws anything that moves and never gets caught at it, while it seems everytime Pete gets something on the side he gets caught some how. lol Poor smuck...:monkey2:lol

Pete's just an *******. I think they are setting it up for a massive powerstruggle not just between Don and Pete but also Ted and Pete. I don't think Pete's gonna take to the 'new' partnership very well even if its in the best interest of SCDP. Also, I predict that Cooper will pass away at some point during the show's run. Or perhaps at least retire. Maybe that's why he was setting up the public stock offerings.

The one thing Im not sure about was Joan's reaction to Don. Don was the ONLY one who was adamantly against asking Joan to sleep with Herb. So I thought her acting pissed was a bit unrealistic considering. She's being portrayed a bit 'over-emotional woman' and I thought this show was moving past sexual (and racial) stereotypes at the same rate the country was in that period. In the end Chevy will be huge for them.

On another note, Ted took to the merger enthusiastically because he new he was losing his art director to pancreatic cancer. So I like how that was set up. My father died of Pancreatic cancer and I audibly gasped--knowing full well what it entails--when it was revealed on the show.

Also THIS!:

She was pissed because it made her feel like she screwed that dude for nothing. When they had that account it was because of her so (at least in her mind) it justified her actions and explained her partnership. Now she doesn't have that, so it feels like it was all for not. And beyond that it's just frustration because even though there's 5 partners, Don does whatever he wants without consulting anyone else most of the time. :lol
