Damn, why are you selling him, Omar? Please tell me that you aren't leaving that wonderful diorama empty. :D
No sir! I have my Kato suited Draper already in there. I had the extra headsculpt and thought I'd sell it. So I bashed a pretty good Draper in hopes someone would give him a good home!

Which reminds me... i'd love a bump to my sales thread! LOL

So, I'm finally caught up on Season 5, and, well, it's safe to say that I won't be able to look at a Hershey Bar the same way anymore. This show just keeps getting better and better.

Well... It's back. The first 1/2 of the last season. I am assuming everyone was watching Game of Thrones instead??

I was able to watch a repeat showing last night and the episode was not particularly exciting. Don has been on leave for 2 months now and is working through Freddy. He still seems very "lost" in life. only 13 more episodes.

IMHO, this show peaked during S4 during "The Suitcase" episode that focused on Peggy and Don's working relationship then sort of fell off the rails.

Most of the core characters have been, IMHO, written into a corner and there's no real room left to develop them.

I hope they at least bring back Sal and close out his storyline properly.

I hate to see a show like this, where the first 2-3 seasons were so phenomenal, just drag itself to the end here.

Well said. I have always been hoping to see the return of Sal. I want to see what he has been up to.

Did Ken hurt his eye last season? I can't remember. Somebody fill me in.

I've enjoyed the past two episodes... this show still does it for me. It's gonna be a bittersweet finale.

I liked the sweetness of Don not realizing it was Valentines after he had spent the day with his daughter and she telling him. Also happy that Dawn is the new office manager and Joan is properly on accounts. Peggy is getting annoying but I do like that she's the office punching bag.. lol

4 episodes down. 3 to go. I am not convinced that the split season was the best way to end the show. Feels like everything is an afterthought at this point.

I really like the show. Don is still a mess and I hope he has some redeeming moments in the final episodes. I am really not sure where the show is going to end as far as the story is concerned.

Every episode feels like a filler so far.

I don't agree at all. Go over to vulture.com and read the amazing analysis and recaps they have there. A lot has happened. For one thing don is Peggy's underling at the moment! Lol. Talk about a polar shift.

I just think mad men is a show that not everyone is cut out for. People's brains get used to the mindless plot twist after plot twist of network episodic television.

I'm really liking this season so far.
I like where Don is at now, doesn't really matter if he redeems himself or goes full dark side, he's a great character.
Also love Roger, the man is hilarious!

How is this consider a split season and not a new season since its almost a year away?
