True. Do we have other lines doing BVS? SHF is (only?) doing SS, all the alternatives for the BVS line are Mezco (way expensive for me) and DC Icons.

WOW. Thanks for posting! Pulled the trigger and pre-ordered Knightmare Batman, Armored Batman, and Wonder Woman over at BBTS. From the unmasked Bruce head sculpt and improved Batman head sculpt included in the Knightmare version to the half broken Mech cowl and Kryptonite spear from the Armored...these figures are a must-own for me. Oh, and WW's head sculpt is the best I've seen at ANY scale (there, I said it lol) her accessories are badass too

But I'm gonna wait for reviews, to see if QC issues appear, the only one I'm definitely getting is Supes.

That's probably a safer date, but I've yet to see HLJ reschedule a release.

@stuwyz on Instagram pointed this out on Superman.

The lines are different colours. I'm pretty sure that's not accurate.

Also, here's a comparison shot of the Superman from a while ago and the one we saw most recently. Is it just me, or did the figure get a little worse? (Left old, right new)

I'm guessing that crotch part is rubbery for better articulation, so chances are the paint took a slightly different tone, or it could be the same color and just reflects different under that lighting because that piece is rubbery.

Not a big deal, not even worthy of complaint for me.

Head sculpt crap on right.

Don't care about the crotch.

It's the same headsculpt, I'm gonna guess different paint or just crap lighting.

Have you seen HTs under harsh light? They look like cheap mego rubber heads

I'm not expecting the final figures we have in hand to look like the one on the left in that picture. My bale batman 2.0 certainly didn't look like the proto images.

Maybe the one on the right is a production piece.

I keep thinking it's just the lighting, left has softer lighting from above, notice how the face creates shadows below cheekbones, nose, forehead, etc, vs the horrible harsh, more frontal lighting on the right, not a single shadow.

But yeah, nothing ever looks like the proto.

I think the head sculpts with mafex are pretty spot on, but the paint is a little off. If they used some kind of 3d print tech like SHF these would be downright amazing. With characters like batman i think it matters a little less though.

Anyway just thought I'd share the mafex TDK Joker after i redid his face, sculpt looks a lot better imo. Still not really like heath ledger, but definitely a whole lot more like the character

Also added a lot of dirt and grunge to his coat and pants, much like the film costume (did this after the pic was taken though)
