MAFEX Batman v Superman: DOJ Action Figures

Just got back into collecting and thought I'd give 1/12th a try.. ordered batman, armored batman and sh figuarts harley... but picked up superman in the meantime.. I read the reviews and was really iffy about it but I need a superman to go with armored bats.... thankfully I'm glad to say I got a pretty decent superman. It looks amazing, I was more worried about the joints than anything. But mine is relatively good. Knees could be tighter but it's not horrible. No bicep gap either. Decided to Futz with it and added some double sided tape to the cape. It does wonders for the overall figure

I think my figure has two right forearms... which really blows... it's not that noticeable unless you stare at it for a while... but I guess with some of the other issues with the figure (loose knees) it could be worse..

I had two left forearms with my Wonder Woman....

Interesting to see this happened on another figure. How odd.

What does the double sided tape do?

Makes the cape connection to the body less bulky and smoother. The cape lays flat on the traps now. It just looks like it flows and drapes better on the traps.

I actually have to say I like the screaming head much more
Overall a great figure, had to fix some loose joints with clear paint and blu tack. Looks great with the cane and the pistol is awesome, the cost is sculpted and painted amazingly.

I had always been irritated with the weird orange skin tone of Superman so I managed to get a set of heads and hands off eBay and did a repaint. Much happier.

Are you ********g kidding me. To think Knightmare Batman was originally supposed to be coming in December. Getting tired of this bs from Medicom. Unlike other companies their delays don't seem to result in a better figure.
