Damaged head on clean body:

I will say though, considering how packed out the clean figure is it draws attention to how barebones the battle-damage figure is. The teargas launcher could have come with the BD figure instead, along with the machinegun, a handgun and a switch out arm and partial battle-damage headsculpt - all of which would have covered the movie from Cyberdyne to end credits.

Why did they omit these things? It'll be a real shame if we never get them. I would buy a 3rd figure, sure, but I don't see why they couldn't have been packed in across the 2 current figures.

I'm assuming this ''Renewal ver.'' will have the more pronounced blue and purple of the recent Murphy head figure, so I ordered one myself. And since I was doing that I ordered a Robocop 1 aswell. I'd be able to display clean and BD looks for each now, or keep the new ones MIB.

I immediately put a pre-order in....saw that it ships Dec 31st, 2023, and remembered I'm broke! That's too soon for me to scrounge together some cash, especially at Christmas time.

I'm gonna have to roll the dice on this one again and hope it doesn't sell out. If it IS just the same muted paint scheme as the first release, I won't feel as bad missing it again. But god, I hope they take this chance to make it a vibrant blue to match this year's release.

@a-dev

Looks like a Japanese collector was also unsatisfied with the way the jacket was laying so he took matters into his own hands. Far too risky for someone like me that's so inept at customization, but you gotta admit, the results are very nice!

Ooooff. I mean yeah the jacket is sitting lower but he has utterly destroyed the figure :lol I would hate knowing that the figure is now a wreck under the jacket.

Couldn't he have sanded down the inside of the jacket itself for a less extreme solution?

I don't actually mind the sit of the jacket, it adds to the bulk. Overall a good looking figure. What I really want though is a decent 1/12 Endoskeleton.

They've got one up for preorder. It looks suspiciously inspired by the Hot Toys 1/4 scale with its narrow head, which disappoints me because I'm not a fan of that HT sculpt. Maybe it'll be less annoying at the small scale though....

Interesting, well, I'll wait till I see reviews before biting.

What a time to be alive!!

Just unboxed. Figure seems very nice. Heads are absolutely amazing, with the sunglasses head being my favorite of the two just for how insanely badass it is.

Only problem is the hands having trouble holding the weapons, and I can tell it's gonna be difficult to pull off some of the poses in the promo images.

Looks great. Even the jacket doesn't seem to be riding as high as I feared, unless your pic is an angle that doesn't show it.

The hands having trouble with the weapons is a minor disappointment to hear. Maybe they're kinda generic hands imported from other figures. And they have looked a bit on the large side from some of these pics we've seen.

Still, can't wait to get mine. I have a feeling it'll be after Christmas though. My preorder is with BBTS. I was going to order one on Amiami but looks like they sold out.

Just in my quick messing around outta the box, the hands designed for the guns really don't work well. The gloved right trigger hand is pointing down and looks just plain bad with the pistol or shotgun. The pistol looks decent in the flesh colored trigger fingers.

The mini gun is gonna take some finagling to get just right. It's super awkward to try to get the hands and arms in position just right, and the straps getting in the way doesn't help!

But other than that gripe, it just looks awesome. Head sculpts are amazing.

I would imagine the hands would respond to some gentle persuasion from a hair dryer. For extra insurance, heat the hand, place the weapon in it, clasp the hand and cool it with cold water.

The hands are usually specific to certain accessories rather than ‘hand A can be used with all weapons’
