First, dig the new pics! Can you get one together of a current rogue's gallery of all the Batman villians you have? Would love to see how that Catwoman fits into the HT's DK villians.

I'm always interested in how figures from different manufacturers look together. Those shots look great and Catwoman seems to fit in nicely.

So your pretty much a bat dude huh Mag's? I don't know if I've asked this but is it because you grew up on Batman, or is the Dark Knight one of your favorite films, or something else? Comics maybe?

He's my favorite hero although I'm more of a Marvel guy. I collected mostly Marvel comics and was too intimidated to collect Batman comics (when I collected comics that is) because the number of the book was so high. Way too much backstory I figured I would never be able to catch up.

So I've kind of always had my Batman itch scratched by film, cartoons, and TPB's. Now of course that includes Hot Toy's!

Yes the bicep is silver, but the chest and ab plates on mine are a very different finish than the bicep plates.


Are the chest and ab plates the exact same finish as the bicep plates on yours?

Just the same as yours. Bicep is smooth because it's on flat curved rubber.

Interesting. I still think ours are different from each other.


With the naked eye the plates on the biceps look silver and the plates on the chest and upper abs look grey.


I can't imagine any lighting making the chest/abs look silver on mine.

At this point, my collection is dominated by 2 things: Batman and Lord of the Rings.

I have never been that interested in Marvel (although I'm looking forward to the Hot Toys Spiderman), and I have read very few comics.

For me the love of Batman started with Tim Burtons Batman movies. Batman Returns is my favorite from the old series, which is why I'm so stoked to have this new Catwoman.

Later came Batman the Animated Series and finally Noland's Batman.



Regarding comics: There are a few I have enjoyed and I have a lot of respect for the art form, but for some reason I just never really got into them. But I love the idea of a superhero. And I love the imagery associated with it.
