The only LOTR figure I don't have is Gandalf. And the only sculpt that bugs me is... you guessed it: Legolas.

Gandalf is such an awesome figure man. Definitely my favorite right out of the box. he's the only one I haven't considered repainting along with the hobbits. I am thinking of sealing up the "cracks" on the shins of the hobbits though, then repaint the entire legs from the knees down. it bugs me haha

I'll have to think about your offer.

if you do decide, it will more than likely come out better than my personal one in both paint apps and sculpt altogether. but no rush as school is kicking my butt as it is lol

I know a lot of people didn't like Burton's Alice In Wonderland, but I liked it and (except for the lame break-dance at the end) I loved Depp's character.

Here is the before shot (I think I got this picture from the MCToys website). Sadly I forgot to take my own before picture, but this one is about right:

And here she is after stripping her down, ironing everything, cutting and styling her hair and dressing/futzing/posing her:

And I even like the face sculpt. From some angles it really looks a lot like Liv Tyler.

I actually think that this is an outstanding figure considering it's Toy Biz.




Here's the story of how I got her:

I had wanted a female character from Lord of the Rings for a while and after bit of research it seemed clear to me that this was the best option. I started checking eBay and the prices were way more than I was willing to spend. I basically gave up on the thought of getting her. Then about a week later my wife and I were visiting her grandfather. He lives in a small town out in the middle of nowhere. There was a flea market in town and, seeing as there was nothing else to do, we decided to check it out. That's where I found her. She was loose, but here's the tag that was on her:

Sadly the sword doesn't come with the version I have. It comes with the Final Battle Version, which has the angry face and the kilt.

It's also a cool figure, but I wanted the classic look.
