That should do it for all the stuff from my point and shoot cameras. Sorry for the burst of miscellaneous stuff there, just trying to get through it all.
From here on out everything should be taken with my DSLR.

Thanks for that info mags. Forgot about that conversation. :lol

So, how about this guy? Good starter?

That's a great camera. I considered getting it myself when the screen on my current Lumix started having problems. I ultimately decided to go for a DSLR as you know, but I seriously considered the camera you just linked.

One thing to keep in mind with that camera is that at it's widest it is the equivalent of a 28mm wide-angle lens. That can be very handy when trying to get a lot into the picture, but when doing a close up of a figure it will look distorted. Like this:

Jack's head looks huge and his hands look tiny, which is a neat effect, but not always desirable. To avoid this, you need to back up and zoom in.

If you do get it and have any questions, let me know. :peace

Gonna buy it at work. It's on clearence for 89$!! Plus 10% off for employees.

Edit: Yup! Just bought it! 64.00 after my discount and some coupons! SUCCESS. :lol

Now I need to enroll in Mags' photography school!

The Cybershots are nice too. That's what I had before the Lumix. Both camera's had their pros and cons.
