I think this is my favorite figure in the line so far. Perfectly executed! And the Elite head is great! Patchless

I am surprised that nobody is really bashing them for going with the robo arm though. When I made my crappy custom a few years ago, I got a lot of crap for going with a robo arm instead of just armor plating even though the original 3 3/4" figure clearly indicated a robo arm rather than the cartoon's armor plating. Personally, I'm glad they went with the mechanical arm. Makes it seem like Bludd has been through a lot more action that way. He lost not only his eye but his right arm as well.

They've also already gone on record about it, admitting that it's their own "fantasy take" on Bludd, so everybody was prepared for it.

The robot arm is kinda lame, but executed well with articulated fingers and such. It does look a little skinny.

The original figure has armor on the arm. I don't understand why anyone would think it's ment to be mechanical. If it was, it would have been mentioned on the filecard.

Well, I for one am glad they did. For the most part, this line has been more or less very realistic takes on the characters. So I'm glad to finally see a bit of fantasy tech making its way into the line. I think little bits here and there like Bludd's arm will help pave the way for something more outlandish like Destro. I'm still stumped on how they will handle him. Classic 80's bare chest and red puffy collar wouldn't fit all that well with the rest of the line, but a guy in a suit would be boring too. I think Bludd (and Zartan for that matter) is a great balance and it gives me hope Destro will be done right too.

With Baroness coming soon, that gives us 3 of the 4 I consider to be the Cobra High Command (CC, Destro, Baroness, and Bludd)

what does what your employer pays you have anything to do with higher prices?

have you noticed the prices continually going up as the grocery store? why is that? because of Dollar devaluation, which then causes Inflation as the dollar is losing its purchasing power..... period.

Sideshow is charging more because it costs more to produce...it takes more federal reserve notes to buy things

I admit I liked the Bradstreet pic Sideshow based their CC on, but I would much rather have had a more classic looking CC like the PF. And with Sideshow's improved quality since the first CC, maybe it was best we got that one first and a more classical CC later/now.

But I do think Destro is going to be a challenge, no matter what direction they go with him. I think he'll be a polarizer like Firefly was.

I think we all know what to expect, I believe I even said 83 or die a while back.

I agree with Nam that the popped collar reeks eighties, but that's probably what we will get regardless. He's been updated countless times in 3 3/4. He's one of the few characters that is unmistakeable no matter what he is wearing so I for one would like SS to take more liberty in addressing the plain eighties gimp suit.
