Well, I don't see the Joe line getting much use out of that, but some comic figures could use it.
Snake armor or SS will just put a Cobra or Joe sticker on it and sell it as a Joe something.

I really wish Hot Toys left the Joes alone. Now Sideshow has even more reasons to back away. They should be revving this up! Bludd has got to be their best yet. Baroness is pretty damn good too. More please!
Even if a rep did come in, which they likely won't, you'd have to take whatever they said with a grain of salt. I remember when they said they were gonna finish the fellowship. Or how the Dead line was gonna continue in 1/6. Neither happened. They also said the were gonna do Jason's from every movie. Didn't happen.
Sideshow's word, not worth much
Yeah, the Joe line will be back. As BM said they're way too into that line not to keep it going. The DC line is gonna get some love because of the effort being put into getting it and getting them out. They worked hardcore to get the figures at comic-con ready for that event. So patience is the key.
Side note: Sideshow has said they will complete The Fellowship in the statue line. We're just one statue away at this point but I don't recall anything about the figure line. I've slept a little so I am probably wrong. I do believe The Dead will be back even if its just one every once in a while.
Words
Yeah, they said the Fellowship could come in 1/6 when they sold out. Well they sold out and no Fellowship. Then they said they'd finish it in PFs. Like that happened. Now the statues. Hell, I'm still waiting on the next Indy figure you and Carl were soooooooooooooo adamantly declaring would see the light of day... three years ago.
Buttly and Josh aren't objective with Sideshow, they blur the lines between company and personel. I'm sure everyone at Sideshow are great people and what not, but that does not mean they are without fault as a company.
Words
That's the misconception so many of you have.
So cliffnotes: Josh and Buttly want to sexor Sideshow?
Its an easy "misconception" to have, but we've been down this road a million times in the last seven years. To me you will always be Sideshow's number one apologist and to you I will always be awesome and amazing.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Sideshow promises of more Indy figures.

Indeed.
To some extant I think Sideshow shot themselves in the foot with their impeccable awesomeness as a company early on. I've been a loyal Sideshow buyer for over ten years and remember the days when it was very much the "mom & pop shop" atmosphere. As they grew, they continued to try and have that feel, but its just not feasible to keep that fan interaction and grow as they have. There was a time when if a Sideshow rep said something, it was as good as gold, not anymore. Not ever close, and it hasn't been for a number of years now. And as they've grown they are taking on more big business practices such as lacking customer interaction, loyalty and service. They are still head and shoulders above the competition in these areas, but they are a far cry from what they were just five years ago. They'd be better off to say nothing at all, then tell people what they wanna hear and then not deliver.
As they have grown we have gotten bigger and better licenses like Joe and now DC, and better products, but they have also been some significant growing pains along the way. Anyone who doesn't see that is not being objective. One part of me wishes they were still that small company, but I know we would still be getting off the radar licenses and lower quality products, and I definitely don't want that.
I want MORE F'N JOES!

The problem is always the same with SSC, they bite off more than they handle, which will always leave a certain collector base aggravated. Especially when they start and dont finish, which they have done time and time again.
A simple, "not to worry the Joe line is not dead, we have just had to focus on other areas for the last year but 2013 with have some great releases."
IMO to do that it isnt that hard and goes a lot farther in keeping your supporters happy.
