I am sorry to hear about your bad luck with Wendy's guys. This past week has been horrible for me as well. My new job is 1.5 hours away from where I live so I have to get up everyday at 4:30AM just to make it there by 7:00AM. I don't get home til 6:30-7:00PM in the evening and so my entire day gets wasted. I have missed almost all of the World Cup matches and that just makes me furious. I don't want to wait another 4years to be able to see the World cup.

Crap Tom, just hop in the wayback machine and try to skip today altogether! I hope tomorrow goes a little smoother for you, and if you are ever in Chicago, I will take you to Portillo's for a good burger!

The only thing that hasn't been hot was my chicken sandwich...

Sounds like a deal!

But you had better drive. You know about my tendency to creep through right hand turns...

And since it's the complaint thread...

I haven't had a full nights sleep December 2005 all due to my new work schedule. My office was relocated an hour and a half away from my home, the only decent time to drive to work is at 5:50AM which means I get up at 5AM each day to make it to the car pool point by 5:50 (did I mention I'm not and never will be a good morning person?), a person just left my workplace for another company last Friday so 10 times more work was dumped on me oh and work is an hour and a half away from my home!! Argh!

Just 9 more months till I make pension....just 9 more months. Then I can finally bail.

July can't come soon enough for my two week vacation (and of course geek week at Comic-Con). :D

Now that doesn't sound too bad!!

Somebody had better make sure my wife knows about that...

I don't think my girlfriend knows about it either. I won't even go there.

I've had an absolutely horrible week at work but suddenly it doesn't seem so bad. How the hell could you eat a regular chicken sandwhich. That's like getting a vanilla milkshake.

Well Tom, misery loves company. I just got sniped at the last second on a Code 3 X-Wing on eBay. Had a bid of $415 and still lost out! I thought that was the one saving grace I'd get this week. I'm not going to be a fun person to be around tomorrow.

I've had that happen more than once Tom and it does piss ya off. Because their Spicey Chicken is so very very good.

When I started reading, I wasn't sure if you were referring to the chicken sandwich switcheroo, the broken air conditioner, the ticket, or the court date that conflicts with Comic Con. But you meant the chicken, and I agree that it's upsetting. (The regular chicken is just such a bland substitute.)

And on top of all that, my wife just told me that she doesn't even recognize Hump Day as an actual holiday. This week just keeps getting worse...

At least I'm off work Thursday and I get to go to Warped Tour. I wonder what tragedy can befall me by then.

On the way home I got pulled over and a cop gave me a ticket for not coming to a complete stop when turning right at a stop sign. Now I will have to pay even more money to take care of the ticket.

Oh, and did I mention that my court date is Thursday, July 20th?

I know the feeling Tom. Back on April 2nd I recieved my first DWI. :monkey3 (Yes I know, I'm a *******.) Court fees, lawyer fees, weekly check-ins almost prevented me from going to SDCC this year. In the end nothing a lot of overtime at work can't fix.

Soon after returning from San Diego, I go to the Family Values Tour with Korn and the Deftones! :rock

Darth Loki - I had the high bid on the X-Wing for most of the week I think. But I wasn't willing to go towards the $400 range. Not this close to SDCC anyway.
