Looks like the Brewers didn't have it this year. I'm honestly surprised they made it this far, watching them during September was almost a chore for me. :monkey2 Hopefully, next year, they can keep the momentum going all season long. I already like the Brewers' chances for next year as they will be starting without Nervous Ned.

Dodgers goin to the NLCS!!! Let's Go Dodgers!!!!

I'm with ya! After watching the Phillies celebrate on my field, I want the Dodgers to hurt them. :emperor

I'm also looking forward to Tampa Bay taking out Boston. :maul

Where you been the last 10 years??? Burn your Clemens Yankee jersey and we'll talk ;)

Oh I admit I followed Roger everywhere he went after DD ran him and many loved sox out of town. I have always still been a Sox fan though. I just loved giving you ^^^^ about the Yankees :D

And the Angels are going to start their comeback in about an hour.

That was about the most awesome thing ever (bloop miscue for 3 runs by the Sox) :rock

I was pissed when he popped up, then saw that Hunter was played really deep. Allowed my hopes to get up that it might drop and them BOOM

Hell yeah, maybe the rally monkey could make that catch. I'm not going to talk smack but in a playoff game, you can't make sloppy ^^^^ ups like that, that's poor baseball.

And Loki, no, Beckett is not Beckett from last year, I don't care how much they say "oh his warmups look great", something's wrong with him, he doesn't have the magic this year, he's the #3 pitcher on the team where last year he was #1.

You sorda got a feeling it was going to happen, too... just from the way the crowd frenzy started rising as the three hesitantly approached the pop-up. Man, we got a gift there. But I'll take it. :rock

Now we just need Beckett to freakin settle down.

And just like that... lead off double by Vladimir. :banghead

He needs a reboot next year. Heal whatever the ^^^^ is wrong with him in the off season and come back good and strong. Something up with him in the head too, hat to be cheesy, but he doesn't have the eye of the tiger this year, it's like he doesn't care, last year he had this burning intensity like I will own you. Of course, last year the team was losing and forced him to step up and save them, which he did, so maybe not having that on him isn't pushing him. I don't know what his deal is, but this playoffs I am not confident going into a game with him starting.

Beckett has pretty much always been like this, though. He's a very cyclical pitcher from yea rto year. He'll have an awesome Cy Young-calibre season (and he was screwed by not winning it last year), then an above-average to mediocre season the next, and then another great season. And his playoff performances from year-to-year rotate between dominating and just okay. He's been like this since his days in Florida.
