It appears as if he's okay. Well, he's still in the game anyway.

Hopefully he's a bit wiser too, that was just so dumb, you're in a pivotal game, you speak to the press about wanting to get past ALDS, then you risk hurting yourself over a fit, you gotta be smarter than that in these games. Fire your mouth off, but don't stop around and risk hurting yourself.

I follow baseball all season, but I LIVE for playoff ball. With over 100 games in a season, you don't feel like a lot's at stake in the first like 75% of the season, but I love games like this where every pitch has you on the edge waiting to see if it's the pitch or bat that defines the game. What an adrenaline rush.

Well, I'm just looking forward to seeing my boy come out to wrap this one up *knock on wood* if we can hold the lead, c'mon cinco ocho!

J.D. Drew's earned his paycheck this year :rock

If they EVER let Youkilis go I'll go down to management and kick their ***** personally. Woohoo Papelbon, you're my boy blue!!!

Totally. I've heard this before, but I've never fully understood until this year. It sounds really stupid and trivial in the grand scheme of life, but I will never forget the Brewers beating the Cubs on September 28th and having a packed Miller Park stay to watch the Mets finish their game with the Marlins on the scoreboard screen.

Major rush. And again, I admit, it sounds really silly in the grand scheme of things, but on that day, I was able to let go of it all and party with an entire State. :duff

The past two games have been trainwrecks for Milwaukee, but I hung on every pitch and enjoyed the game for the game and not just the 'atmosphere' like a lot of the regular season games, if that makes sense...

It's just a long season and yes, every win counts in the end, but you don't feel that when it's happening because theoretically, you could lose the first 30 games, then win every game after that and be the best team in the sport.

It's really not until you get to the point in the season where you're really fighting for a playoff birth that you start getting that "everything counts" feeling and that's my favorite part of sports, having stakes on the line. Sure I like just watching it played, but the excitement you get when it's win or go home is unlike anyhing else, and it's the closes feeling to actually being at the game as you can get at home watching it on TV. I just wish I was at college with 5 other dudes in my appartment again screaming over everything, that just adds to it all.

2004 was about finally doing it, and it felt great, 2007 was about proving 2004 wasn't some fluke, this year it's about proving we have what it takes to repeat. If we win the World Series this year, I won't be so invested as this year, I just want to see them show that we're not some team that gets lucky once in a while.

This just proves how different Postseason baseball is. The teams with the two best regular season records (Angels and Cubs) now both find themselves in 0-2 holes and now going on the road. It's wholly different come October.

Not only that, but the Angels-Sox regular season ended up like 9-2 in favor of the Angels, I was scared ^^^^less of this series, I'd have rather taken on Tampa than Angels, but somehow, the Sox manage to find "stuff in the basement" or something because some of the last games of the season you wouldn't think they were capable of playing like they are the last 2 games.

By the way dude, I'll be outside Fenway tomorrow hitting the bars, it's going to be insane :rock

BREWERS FTW!!!!

Very glad to *finally* see the hitters showing up to play some ball! Except, once again, for Corey Hart. It seems to me like he's trying to lose.

Huge props to Dale Sveum for calling shenanigans on that bush play in the ninth.

BREWERS WIN!!!!
