I know, I know I should have been awake for the game, but it's my buddy's wedding this weekend and I've been running a marathon since Thursday for it and won't be done until after today. Me and some friends were pissing off the bride's maids cuz we kept asking if there'd be a TV at the reception

For shame!!!!!! I was a little disappointed after my Blackhawks dropped their season opener but the Sox more than made up for it last night. Thought I was going to throw my remote through my tv that first inning. It was great to see Dice-K settle down after the first inning.
Now the big question of the playoffs, will Beckett be Beckett?
Oh, I'm going to miss game 2 tonight

Time Warner here got into some kind of conflict with the local Fox station so they took it off the air. I can't watch the Phillies/Dodger games and I won't get to see the World Series either.
that stinks. i had to watch most of last night's game on ESPN.com's gamecast while i was in the library. i refreshes every 30seconds or so. give it a shot, it's better than waiting until the next day.

By the way, I'll share this with my fellow Sox fans.
So, while I had to miss Game 2 for a wedding, no big loss in the end, it was a Sox filled wedding.
First, I was the first groomsman to enter the reception and as it came time for the wedding party, they switched the song to Shipping Up To Boston so I got to come out like Papelbon from the bullpen, fun for me cuz he's my favorite player. Later, they played Sweet Caroline and all the Sox fans were singing along like we do at Fenway, not the same, but still a blast, and then at one point they announced the Sox taking a lead in the game and I started a Let's go Red Sox chant in the middle of a dance number, it was a blast.

I'll be stunned if Sox win today, Tampa's playing like they want it, they deserve, Sox are playing like a bunch of limp cocks out there, I don't know what their problem is, determined to have to come back down 3-1 like Cleveland or something i guess.
This will be avenged.
I have the Fenway Faith, but like last year, I think they need another "get off your ass" pow-wow in the locker room. I saw no fire in the team tonight, it was pathetic, they played their guts out against the Angels and this was like they didn't give a ^^^^.
