Only team in the HISTORY of baseball to blow a 3-0 series(2004) lead but yea sure there the "come back kings".....like you said it's only 1 game.

NYY own tons of records both good and bad. Dropping 4 in a row was tough, There is no shame in losing to the 2004 Worlds Series Champs in a 7 games series. Remember the Red Sox went on to SWEEP the World Series that year, it was NO FLUKE, the were a great team who got VERY HOT at the right time.
IMHO the 2004 Red Sox "the Idiots" were one of my all-time favorite Yankee opponenets. It was a team for the ages, it was a great rivalry and both teams brought out the best in each other.
getting back to the "Come back Kings" of baseball...here are the facts:
The Yankees had 46 comeback wins during the regular season. That included a league-high 28 wins when they faced a multi-run deficit.
On their way to winning the World Series last season, the Yankees had seven comeback wins in the playoffs. That included three rallies when down by multiple runs.
, in 2004 , it was bitter pill to swallow, but it was also hard to hate that Red Sox team.
