Final 4 of Brewers, Cardinals, Tigers and Rangers would be rather unexpected from the start of the year. Individually each team isn't a shock, but who would have guessed at the start of the year that neither Boston, NY or PHI would be in the CS's.

If you were familiar with the Tampa area you might understand why most Tampa fans choose not to go to the games.

I lived not far from Tampa/St. Pete for a while a few years ago. I'm aware of the issues/excuses. It doesn't change the fact that the team has never been supported. I don't know if a move to Tampa proper would be enough to save them. From interviews I've read with Stuart Sternberg I'm guessing if something doesn't happen on the stadium front, the Rays won't exist 10 years from now.

Moving them from St. Pete to Tampa would definitely improve ticket sales. Would it be a drastic change? Who knows for certain, but for me personally it was too much of a hassle/expense to drive from Brandon to get there even with $14 tickets. (I was a season ticket holder in 2000)

3 bleepin' HRs for Beltre. Wow! :google :panic: :thud:

Rangers up 4-2 in the 8th. :(

Just remember don't touch his head.:lol

I like and respect the Rays, but part of me is glad the Rockies are not (yet) the last expansion team to win the WS.

Was about a foot away from the 2011 World Series Trophy today in Detroit.
My wife posted a picture on her facebook

Phillies..3
Cards...5 Final

Wow! I'm really surprised the Cards have pushed the Phills to a 5th game. :google

We're still alive. :)

I'm not. I believe the Cards won the season series against the Phils and won 90 games which is pretty good considering our bullpen lost 13 games for us. We can go into Philly and win Friday.
