Malignant Gabriel 1/6-scale figure speculation

Caught the new James Wan flick Malignant last night and LOVED it! Excellent nod to giallo flicks, IMO with some really killer shots. Gabriel, in particular, really struck a chord with us, very Channel Zero.

There was enough there that I could see a pretty killer figure...probably something that HT won't even blink at due to their marriage to the house of mouse. Threezero or any of the other HK groups should pounce on this one. Sideshow could do some justice, although I don't see them gambling on this one.

If you could, try to keep any discussions spoiler free since this is still a pretty new release.

True, I can see NECA possibly doing this. It'd be nice to see another company give it a go in a larger figure, however these days if it's not Marvel, it probably won't get produced.

The movie was a blast. I'd love a Gabriel figure.

I would bet on Trick or Treat Studios doing it, but not for a few years.

I liked this movie, but feel it will fall into the Dead Silence category. It will take a while to build a fanbase, but the base will be loyal. Dead Silence has been around over a decade now, and a custom figure set by Distinctive Dummies (that I am happy to say I consulted on and advocated for) is all that's been done.

I wouldn't sink a boatload of money into some super expensive item. If NECA made a figure I would gobble it up. This flick was a good old fashioned "monster movie" style horror flick. I liked it.

Just watched it now. I vote "yes" for a figure....at any size. Neca, Hot Toys, Sideshow and/or Tots....bring it on, I'm buying!

This would be a fairly straight forward custom. By the way, Phicen offers female heads if anyone wants to make a "Maddie" figure. I am sure a likeness compatible head could be found to be the protagonist of the film......

and not just Gabriel. So he could have an opponent, like Myers has with Loomis. Staying as spoiler free as is humanly possible.
