Nolan is not only producing, but he helped write the story and chose snyder to direct.

Despite a quick and unequivocal denial from the actor’s reps, the rumor that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is playing Batman in Man of Steel just isn’t going away. Now, coyly adding fuel to the fire is The Dark Knight Rises director and Man of Steel producer Christopher Nolan. I hope that isn't true. And you're telling me by the time we do FINALLY get a Justice League movie, the Batman that's going to be in it, is not even going to be the real Batman(Bruce Wayne)?

Really, though, WB going this direction wouldn't surprise me one bit. Looks like I'll never see a REAL JL movie anytime soon.

I don't mind that for the beginning. Set up Blake as Bats in the JL movie, have him get his ass kicked in the first act, then have Bruce Wayne come out of retirement.
