One of the websites from the viral (from last year) provides a translation of the individual symbols.

....And speaking of that, I'd like to take a moment and make it known that I, Chap, technically broke this story about the countdown (including its translation) BEFORE such popular sites like SHH. And instead of breaking it to them first, I made it a SSF Exclusive.

I figured it out by waiting until the last two numbers (seconds) synched up, and I counted down along with them until they started over.Then, it was just a matter of matching up the symbols once I had them memorized. They don't call me the dark knight detective for nothin' MFers!
