I think it's "Internet first" then "cliques"

Re: The Man of Steel

Funny part is ... I'm taking the wife and kids to Disney World for two weeks ... and we leave at 5am on June 16th. So, for all the looking forward to this, I won't even see it until the end of June at the earliest. Heh.

Some timing.

Hop on a bus and go see it at Universal. The theater there is pretty ****ing cool. Only about a 25 minute drive too.

It's right outside the entrance, so you don't have to buy park tickets to see it.

I'm kinda getting concerned. Not sure SNAKE here is who Camp Man of Steel wants as the cheerleader. :lol

Seriously, though, it's the skeptics we're most interested in hearing buzz from when the film hits. No doubt the most cynical among them will find instant faults to blow up, but the rest? That's who we're eager to see reactions from.

The mainstream is where this film will sink or swim, though. It's no measure of quality (box office) but if it connects with Joe Sixpack and has any post-release buzz this flick has the potential to be huge.

He's not going to put me off. I'm a Zack Snyder fan. I'm seeing this film as a new Zack Snyder film. Not a Nolan movie. Nolan will be way back in the bus that is my brain.

It's Zack's movie. No doubt about that at all.

If there's a Nolan who deserves more than the usual Producer's credit, it's actually his brother: Jonathan. He helped save the mess of a script (by David Goyer) with Zack and his team at literally the 11th hour. Unfortunately, those guys won't get their due on script credit thanks to the WGA.

But I'll tell ya, when I read Goyer's script just before production I was pretty damn concerned. :lol And that was the draft Chris Nolan blessed and had story input on. Thankfully, his brother and others knew it could be vastly improved... and WB backed them. But Goyer will get the credit, which is a sham... but that's how the system works.
