Man of steel: Superman 1:6 scale iconic statue

Those Repaints.Look Great!

Here's my re-paint attempts, I tried to give Supes some texture so he wouldn't have that wax museum look but I think I overdid it... Oh well, it's my first try at repaints and I'm much happier with how they look now (and it was fun!) thanks TooManyFigures for the advice!

Just for comparison, here's how Supes looked new...

I repainted Bats face, gave him some color and stubble...

Man, the repaints of this guy look so much better. The paint they have make him look like some 18th century dandy! The line as a whole, though, I think will look really good together. I'm waiting to see what Hot Toys will come out with, though, before I decided whether or not to get these.

Cool! I went ahead and ordered all four. I saw another Superman review that made me think the head wasn't actually as bad out of the box as some pictures have shown. I won't get them until next Monday at the earliest, though.

Wasn't that odd how the back of his head was missing at the very end of the video? Why would the head be in two pieces unless.... actual light up heat vision?!!!!!!

Yup, that's gotta be it. Notice the eyes aren't fully painted in either, while the rest of the head is.

HAHAHAH i might hold off on this one id like to try and get the head loose somehow, its real heavy and awkward to handle, soon as i figure it out ill post!

My Superman statue showed up! One day after I ordered him from ToyNK. The other three are on their way from another store. I really like him a lot. I think his paint job looks fine in person. I was actually very pleasantly surprised, but I think the flash in some of the photos on here was killing some of the subtlety.

He know proudly adorns my office at work.
