anyone w/it in-hand have an opinion on the eyes? From the pics they look like robot eyes. man-thing's eyes are supposed to be big round ruby-like orbs. i'd have liked it better if they had used deep blood red glass orbs for the eyes, but I haven't seen this in person so they may look fine

I was looking at him today at my LCS and the eyes look good, For me maybe a little more sunken in but I say again The Detail is Great

well i haven't talked to them directly myself, but my inlaw talked to them last week and they said the marvel shippment was getting held back because of some QC concerns over the She-Hulk i believe.
also they weren't sure if the Man-Thing would even make it on this shippment since it was already very full with all the other marvel greatness.

oh well either way i will have him soon enough

yeah well if it's a little late that's ok with me either way.

but don't quote me on this for sure, since like i said i'm getting this second hand from my bro-inlaw. i haven't talked directly to the lcs yet, and i probably won't since i'm sure they're busy enough as it is and i'm sure they'll let me know when it's in.

well from what i've been told (again second hand) that the whole shippment got held back so they could inspect all the She-Hulks for cross eyes.
this most likely has something to do with customs etc. and if she-hulk is already on the shippment to be cleared through customs then it has to go with the shippment or else all the papers have to be redone, or if they get caught with a shippment that doesn't match the packing slip, they could get fined upwards of $100,000 and have the whole shippment confiscated.
