Mara Jade bust

GenCon is this weekend and I was wondering how Gentle Giant sells these after the convention. I really want one of these busts but was wondering about how GG handled things like this. When will they go on sale and stuff. I really want to get one of these so bad but dont want to pay $200 for one on ebay.

Lol, good luck is right. So far for me, ordering from GG has been a total nightmare.

Ordering from GG?? it is a nightmare.

I never order directly from them and I know their server will have problems again for mara jade.
Only option for me is to go ebay on this one unfortunately.

If GG does a surprise email then the servers will not have problems and the mara bust will not be that hard to get. If they do a known time then there will be problems. I for one really expect them to do a surprise email because it would just be too much traffic means people are going to be ordering the shock bust as well.

Yes, I expect a surprise e-mail. I just hope it doesn't go out during my vacation or I'll be in trouble. Still, if I miss it I might get a better deal through a flipping board member than through eBay...

I just hope its next week if it is Ill just be around the computer all of the time. This is the first bust Ill be getting if I can and probably the only. I have always liked Mara since I read the Thrawn Trilogy during middle school for book reports. I decided I might as well be interested in what I was reading. I am a member of the collectors society thing I put my email in now I just have to wait I guess.

you could have ordered mara from gg website if you were going to gen con.
i think the edition size is 2500.there will be plenty around on ebay soon.

Edition size of 2000. 500 of these were pre-ordered for gen con. There will be a high demand but as I said earlier if it is a surprise email then getting her should not be that bad.

There going for at least 150 on ebay right now and thats ridiculous I just hope theres alot left over, cause I really want one of these.

They will put them up for sale after they get back from the convention. It usually takes them several days to get everything ready. There is a slight chance that it could go up later next week (which would be great, because I would be in town!), but I am expecting it to be the week after next. My personal guess: Tuesday morning the 22nd.

Well, I will be in Yosemite that day. That's why I am thinking Tuesday, because I won't be anywhere near an internet connection and I don't feel lucky about this one.

That's the problem actually, If you expect a service like SS provides, then you will be higlhly likely be disappointed. As I noted before I can never manage to order anything from them and am waiting for the flood on ebay when the remaining 1500 will be on sold.
