Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Finally finished with the renovation, so a complete thread overhaul soon...

In the meantime, here's my collection as of now at a glance! A few 1/6 customs are out for tweaking (Indy/John McClane) but should hopefully be rejoining the ranks soon

Thank you, manolis! I didn't used to use stands on any of my figures, but with the prices of customs...just to much anxiety! :lol

wonderful collection marf. congrats on your new display. looks spectacular altogether :)

Much appreciated Thrust, I would love to someday get some of the shelves you're using in your display, they :rock

PS- I stole your Morpheus pose. :monkey3

Thanks Tim! :1-1: I was thinking about how varied my collection is as I was unpacking it (and how it reached the point it's at now), and started likening collecting to curating a museum. I guess we are all curators of our own collections...our own little pop-culture museums! :rock

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Great setup man! A maximum of 3 figs per shelf really makes the collection much more streamlined and elegant IMO, I hate when it starts to look cluttered.
Great poses definitely help, too. :rock The poses reflect the characters very well.

Thanks Yannick, and I agree on all points! I think posing/futzing is pretty important (as you undoubtedly understand, looking at your awesome collection), and I'm definitely going to try to keep my figures to 3 max per shelf. I personally think any more than that and it's tough to appreciate each individual figure. Plus it forces me to constantly evaluate what characters are worth the real estate, and only pick my absolute favorites. No room for another detolf for a while :lol
