Re: MarfMaster's Mix

A couple pics of my latest :) This thing is outstanding, and I've never been so tempted to keep re-posing a figure...it's tough to find one that doesn't look awesome!

Wow, there some great Pic's. I can't wait for my Spiderman to arrive. He's up there with Batman for me personally as my favourite comic book character. The pose your got him in is awesome :)

Thanks RagingBull! :) Spidey is definitely my favorite Marvel character, and Batman is my favorite DC, so I'm right there with you :duff I hope yours arrives soon, it's an amazing figure, truly worthy of the character!

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Alright, what body is this on, or more precise what left hand is that? I really don't like the relaxed hands HT makes, they don't look natural, this hand has the relaxed posture. Fantastic stuff Marf!

Thanks Artoo! That's actually a TT Advanced there, left hand and all! I think that the relaxed hands can look good if you take the time to angle them correctly :exactly:

Spidey looks great Barf, dig the pose

Thanks KD :rock

This is great Dane! Can't wait to complete mine already!!! :gah:Hey I think the belt is on backwards buddy! The end of the belt should be on the right side. That's my only nitpick....sorry :monkey3

Thanks for the heads up Hector, I will definitely fix that! Congrats on getting in on the Grimes project, I think it came together pretty much perfectly :duff I just hope the show can keep its legs amidst all the drama that's surrounding it.

Spidey looks awesome, dude! Very cool pose! Really dynamic! Congrats! :rock :rock

Thanks Entity! :)

Great looking Spiderman, Great, Congrats Marf

Appreciate it Big C :hi5:

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Are you using stands now for all of your figures Marf?

I am for all of my customs, and any HT figure that isn't able to stand securely on it's own :) My 2 year old daughter has taken an interest in my collection, and sometimes she can get a little rough with the detolfs out of excitement :lol

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Hey Dane,
Let's see the whole set up man. Curious to see the new stuff that's replacing the old. :lol
I gotta update my thread too. Looks NOTHING like the first page anymore. Later! :rock2

Yeah my collection couldn't be any more different from the first page :lol Definitely planning on posting an updated pic in the next month or so, hopefully with a couple more customs that are almost completed. The problem is I want to do a comprehensive update, and maybe even start a new thread, so I need some time to take all those pics :slap

Looking forward to your update man :rock

Wow, Marf. That Grimes is one of the best customs I've ever seen. Everything it takes to make an excellent custom —sculpt, paint, clothes— looks fantastic. You got a gem there.

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

A few more Rick Grimes pics that never made it in here :)

Man, that's a thing of beauty. Who painted yours?

Isn't that the left gun hand, not the relaxed hand? The left gun hand is less 'gun specific' then the right gun hand and works well as a alternate relaxed hand.

Thanks KBA! :) Kato and VelvetMorning definitely outdid themselves!

Cheers Mag :duff Scott (velvetmorning) painted the sculpt, arms and hands actually :rock

And you are correct about the left hand, my bad! I forget that those horrible "relaxed" hands even exist, I don't think I'm using a single on on any of my figures :lol

Seriously, that Rick Grimes looks like a real fricken human being. UNREAL custom workmanship.

Thanks man, the talent on this forum puts out some pretty amazing stuff indeed :rock

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Hey Dane :wave - love your collection (as always), but when are you gonna put up some new shots of your entire collection? I loved how on the first page you originally had wide shots of the collection - shelves and detolfs, and then shots of individual figs and/or shelves. But so much in your collection has changed since that first post, that I'd love to see the new "mix" altogether, as well as the new and improved individual shelves! Here's hoping to see some new photos soon:duff

BTW - I got the McClane parts. I haven't gotten to put them on a body yet, but they look wonderful by themselves! Thanks again!:)

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Hey LC, glad you're happy with the McClane parts! :)

Believe me, I am so anxious to update my thread :lol It has just been a little hectic over the past several weeks as my wife and I are renovating our condo by ourselves, and all of our furniture (my shelves included) is in disarray :slap We are wrapping up though, hopefully this weekend! So I may be able to get some new photos up soon!

Thanks for checking in :1-1:
