I made a post last night in the IM 1:1 thread about this listing. I didn't want to post the link though because its an auction format listing.

It looks really good in my opinion.

ohhhhh...........ok,my bad, well, if this isnt aloud or needs to b moved or whatever, so b it :whip

No big deal...

the guy posted info about the auction at the statue forum so the word is out.

looks good imo, though i'd like to know what paint/chrome process he used before i bought it. you might get a bunch of finger prints etc. by the time you received it. he did take alot of effort though to make all the screws and rivets look legit.

Yeah, it's fine. If no one has mentioned anything by now, it's cool. :rock (I'm not bidding on this one.)

whatever.........im not biddin on it either, but does look good, i dont have enough cheese or room for two IM busts right now anyways

It's an idea for how to fix one with paint flaws. Got really bad paint on your bust? Make it into a mark 2.

Agree 100% with you there. It's not that I have anything against customs like these, but down the road, a custom will lose you some points (IMO).....

dont get me wrong it looks amazing but this loses its originality.
It will still say on the base MARK 3.

I will wait for sideshow to make one but even so I love the finnal MRK 3 armor better then all of them.

its the suit that will be shown in all the rest of the up comming movies.

why? u mean all together customs pieces or modified products already out?

Well, I just mean in reference to this particular bust. I think in the long run, if someone had to choose, they would pick the "stock" bust as the one worth more monetary value than the custom.

This definitely doesnt apply to the 6'' and 12'' world. (It's probably the exact opposite. :lol)

dont forget the 1:1 bust world...........i know a lot of guys on here do good customs, but some of sculting and paint work on the big boys are just incredible

I definitely agree that it's almost. I'm not discounting that, but I just feel (at least with me) there's a phobia of buying something that has been modified from its original form from the factory. If I'm going to modify, I'll do it myself or let someone else do it for me, but I want too make that decision. Does that kind of make sense? (Because I think my point is getting lost in the words here. :lol)

I guess what I mean is if I'm buying a modified piece, I can't modify it back. So what's done is done. But if I buy it all original, then I can choose to leave it alone or modify it "down the road." I think that "option" to choose equals a higher price tag.
