I've read all the comments guys and seriously can't thank you all enough.

We are going to talk later tonight face to face and I'm going to go over all my finances with her.

I won't bring it up again and I apologize if this isn't proper place to discuss this matter.

But once again, I can't thank you enough.

Best of luck my friend :duff

If she loves you like she says she does, this is not something that will stop her from loving you. She'll reach out to you. Wait for her to do so. If she doesn't, then she doesn't love you. Let the relationship end. If that's how she is with someone she loves, you don't want to be in a relationship that will give you that type of headache. She is who she is, that won't change if you bend over backwards for her. Don't let her think that type of behavior works. Otherwise, this is what you will put up with the rest of your life if you stay together.

Disclaimer - this may be bad advice.

Edit - And I hope you no longer keep figures in your bedroom.

Personally I went through the same thing and it didn't work out for me.

Anyone who has seen my collection page (link under my signature) knows I have a pretty extensive collection, however for the most part I stuck to 1 figure + maybe 1 custom per month. 2 if I got one for Christmas or my birthday or something. But after a few years it added up to a lot of figures.

My girlfriend always hated them. I kept them in a closet and barely ever took them out around her, but she was always aware that they existed. Especially when we would be hanging out and id have my laptop open to this site.

She hated them, calling them stupid dolls and comparing them to the barbies she had when she was a kid. I told her that it was my money, I wasn't hurting anyone, and just because she didn't "get it" was no reason to prohibit me from doing something that made me happy in my spare time.

She was kind of a perfectionist that had a very clear idea of what love and a husband were supposed to be like, and probably saw me as a man-child wasting all my money. Im not saying that this was what caused us to break up. We had a couple other issues (mostly relating to her perfectionism and inability to accept things that didn't conform to her perfect standards. things such as declaring a great date night ruined if I forgot to hold the door open for her once, ect.) but I can almost guarantee you that it was probably a factor.

Sharing your life with someone is just that "sharing". You shouldn't have to justify your finances. I say double down and get the iron man mark whatever, the suit up gantry, the hall of armors, the iron man workshop, playhouse, and Malibu convertible. If at the end of the day you didn't jeopardize your home, food or bills to get your figures and she still has a problem with it......Kick her out, leaves more room for the new 1/4 ironman beach-side diecast apartment duplex with PERS and working appliances.

That it's your life an choices, not her's. Experiences are trustworthy, believe me. If buying this figures doesn't kill your budget; even it does; it's none of her concern. You don't have a co-budget. Even if you're married; I think you're not even close to that; you don't have to cap off yor collecting figures hobby.

I can see you gf's has an hard life. You emphatize with her, it's a good thing. But she must emphatize with you too. Love is good, makes you feel walking on the air. But it ends. No, it's not, I don't mean that. I mean it transforms. Remains as "LOVE" but it changes.

Briefly I can say that couples must be thoughtful to each other. Single-sided toleration kills the relationships.

Still waiting on the PO for that :impatient:

:lol and I agree with you about sharing :hi5:

Only you would ask something like this
That's so weird I was gonna say the same about you :lol

I don't think that's really relevant to the discussion
