Those entries look like USPS mirroring 4PX's tracking information.

The parcel is probably still in China as there's no "Hand over to airline" and "Departure from the original airport" recorded.

For deliveries to the UK we don't see this duplication from Royal Mail.

Tracking to the US looks more confusing than to the UK.

Seems like it could still be moving around the facilities in China awaiting boarding, unless the process is completely different to ours.

Timing is also confusing. I recently worked out that I had to add 8 hours to 4PX's tracking to know what time things were actually occurring. Adding hours doesn't make any sense at all when China is already 8 hours ahead of us.

However, 4PX have proved to be very reliable.

This is the 4PX tracking for my Alfreds:

The corresponding Royal Mail tracking with the +8 hour time difference for receipt:

Should people in US (like myself) also be paying customs duties from every package we get from china/hong Kong moving forward rather than it being a rare once in awhile thing?

Sorry if it’s dumb question. Just trying to have clarity moving forward what to expect.
Much tidier. Mine is just scribbles. :lol

Does 4PX go by another name or is it short for something? Never heard of it til now in this thread.

This is how it looks on Parcelsapp:

4PX is the actual name.

Oh it seems the major discount "retailers" (such as AliExpress) use the service too. And those are not mail-based? That would mean AliExpress is (at least for now) exempt from the tariffs or no? Or does this only matter for whether there will be a delay or not but ALL services will be taxed/tariff'd (don't care if it's a word, it is now!)?

Kit said 4PX takes the tariff and taxes up front, so it's in the price you pay him.

I've seen people saying that Alfred was "getting close to a $300 figure", but they were adding 10% to $247 while the 10% had already been included in the $247 list price for accounts with a US address.

Even looking at the USPS tracking isn't helpful. It just eliminates the 4PX portion of the tracking so it looks like mine is bouncing around Elk Grove, IL for the past couple of days when in reality it's all the way across the globe. I figure I'll go to get the mail one day and Alfred will just be standing by my mailbox holding the serving tray...

I’m in the same area. Mine has just said, “Arrived at warehouse” for last few days since it hit the states.
