So does the vest itself not want to stay closed? I’ve seen a few photos now where it’s open.

Don't know why there have been at least two so far photographed with it open.

It closes fine with the magnets. The only eventual issue is the double sided tape losing its stickiness after repositioning. A couple of Jokers so far look like the strip is coming away.

As I did with mine, and s6001 also suggests, it's an easy fix with glue.

A post went up on Mars' Facebook yesterday evening asking whether Joker 2.0 was as bad as the reports they'd read. Within minutes the post was no longer to be seen.

Nobody else on Facebook seems to have noticed any problem with the re-issue, in spite of the glaring collar malfunction. They're as wowed by him as most us were with the 1.0.

To be honest, I’m not sure I would have noticed the collar issue if it hadn’t been pointed out on here. I’m generally more casual about these things though. I can see how it would bother some. The thing with the magnets poking out will definitely bother me. I’m glad that seems like an easy fix.

There are some here with keen observations; for good or bad:unsure:. I also think that if you do not have anything to compare it to a lot of things can be overlooked. Especially if they are somewhat minor, and minor is subjective. Yeah, you have pics to use as comparison but if you've read through some of this thread you had two idiots (me and Wor: sorry Wor) scratching our heads as to what the hell Asta was referring to.

That's disappointing.

The fact that the post was removed, rather than addressed isn't encouraging at all. I hate to say it, but I'm really wishing that they hadn't started the 1966 line until after they were a bit more established. They're effectively learning as they go, but it's with the figures that are arguably some of the ones that we have all waited the longest for, and no one else is making.

They're not really a new company, but like most third parties aren't consistent.

They currently go by the names Six Feet Lane Studios, and, of course, Saturn Toys, and were associated with DAF Toys, Yan Toys, Beetoys and S-Hero. Possibly also CGL/Fire Toys.

Since they started making a name for themselves with the '66 line, I think their latest posts indicate they'll pay more attention now with the Mars brand.

Hopefully anyway. :lol

Thank you for listening. I spoke about this yesterday on my show. The second batch Prank Villain is really cheap in comparison.

You’re making yourself known in 1/6 (the first batch was amazing!) and we would all love to see you continue to produce excellent products.

Wow... so more are saying its "cheap" by comparison. Hate to think that's true as the only change appears to be the shirt collar. However, there is a "laziness" to the way the presentation is in the box when compared to the care of the first figure.

Calling it "cheap" seems a tad extreme, and it wasn't a word I'd expect to see in relation to the 2.0.

Disappointing, yes, but not exactly cheap when you consider everything else apart from the shirt.

(The magnet situation is easily solved, and the choice to go that way is an improvement over the 1.0).

I agree. The magnets to me are an improvement. Wish they were more secure from the start but at least this way they can be moved out of sight easily.

The shirt collar, for me, actually may or may not be a problem. As noted, I have the dino tie which is wider at the knot so the spread collar may actually work better for me -- not that the collar should have been changed.

I'll be going for this "spread collar" look...

I wish I knew what Anthony Włodarski's channel was called, because that "show" would be interesting to see.
