Genuinely in disbelief this figure seems to be finally happening.
Blown-up Gus looks good from what I can see, but normal Gus looks terrible.

The sculpt doesn't look any different to me. Just cheap-looking third party paint apps unfortunately.

It's still possible that it's just terrible lighting washing out the paintwork.

Honestly I don’t love that look as the Gus for my display, but if I were to pick one from the set it would be that one.

Esposito doesn't have the darkest skin, so I wouldn't necessarily have an issue even with that shade if the paint detailing were good. But I will say that these close-ups look a million times better than the shot from the previous page. That Mars themselves thought that looked good enough to show off is disturbing, however.
