well i finished watching it and i thought it just flat out sucked. it all seemed pretty pointless and boring to me. i felt there wasn't much of a story and the really bad CGI landscapes really took me right out of the movie.

I know is slow as hell but I loved it, Maybe it was the 3D that helped, but I loved it, I thought it was a great movie,

I saw it a couple weeks ago. Right before Valentine's Day. My fiancée and I LOVED it. Went in with no knowledge other than knowing to see it in 3D. Well worth it! Will definitely get on Blu someday.

I wasn't blown away by it. I thought it was a good film and had its heart in the right place, but it too long for what it had to say. The plot was a little too cluttered and if it would have been more focused and tightened up, it would have been much better.

As for the Oscars it got, technically-speaking is was a fanatastic film and deserved each one (cept for cinematography). 3D may have helped it though as I haven't seen it in 2d yet.

This movie was horrible in my opinion. My wife and I took my nephew. He was pretty damn bored and he's 9. The reason we went is the book. Julie brought it home one day and I thought it was pretty cool. The movie was dreadful and boring. Just the type of film to win awards.

I'm getting this from Netflix today.

I hope it won't suck, I'm kind of dreading watching it, I have heard a lot of negatives about it.

I saw this last wednesday in 3D and I loved it! I thought it was wonderful. The characters, setting and story were very good and certainly made for a great watch! :rock :rock
