I have faith that SS will nail this. Its been on everyone's list for quite some time. Would have loved an unmasked portrait like the CQ but Im sure this is going to look amazing

I never would have displayed the unmasked portrait...I had the com and never put it on once. I have the faith, too...DD will rock!

From what I'm reading so far, this seems to be a bit like the Jean Grey PF. I wonder how long they have been working on this. Reps have said Andy came in and reworked the head and pose on this piece but it wasn't his original sculpt. That's kinda how it went with Jean. I hope it looks amazing but I have my doubts. Well, it'll only be a few more days until the full reveal so I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I'm sorry but I'm going to disagree. That statue is atrocious in my opinion. Overly muscled and ridiculous shading, the face looks like he's in pain....I'm also really not into his ***** laying against his right thigh...the pose was a good idea, just poorly executed. Again just my opinion

The art style is exaggerated, like roman helenistic statues. If you dont like it thats fine... doesnt make it ridiculous either. Theres a reason for his pose whereas Sideshows doesnt even top the comiquette which IMO already looks better than this plain jane pose.

I sense they were trying to create a diorama face off similar to Captain America Red Skull pfs.

Bullseye will probably have a similar pose to Red Skull

Yeah I don't think its boring, its just not great, I don't not like it but I don't like it either, this and Thor PF is a pass for me

My point was the base and leg position could be anything making it quite dynamic or subdued.

Noone has seen the full statue!

I'm a big Daredevil fan. I'm happy this is finally getting made.

The pose and portrait are redundant

Wolverine LSF, Batman PF, Batman Bust, Daredevil bust all have a similar expression

This thing will look like the Cap PF except a ****tier base. His legs are static in posture as seen on the banner.

I'm familiar with the Hellenistic period and I'm sorry, that Daredevil doesn't seem derivative. If that's what the artist was going for he/she missed. As for the new piece I'd wait before critiquing it. We've all seen one image. At least give it until Tuesday before you decide to shred it.
