Damn, i was hoping i'd be blown away by this cause i've been waiting for it for so long...but tbh i'm not
Awkward pose (imo) and i have serious concerns about the angle with the single pin..would have also preferred mixed media for the holster
On the plus side...i really like the base...very unique

Seriously thinking i'll wait for the inevitable "Yellow" variant...i know this'll sound weird but i honestly think the yellow will suit/match the overall pose/physique of this piece much better

Seems like a lot of disappointment but I'm digging what I see. I'm getting this. The texture, the base, I like it. And it will display well with the other city or building base statues I have like Spidey Com, Thing PF, Hawkeye PF, etc... And hey they're all New Avengers so it works.
Yeah I'd be surprised if they didn't do a Yellow costume variant. Daredevil typically doesn't have all of those stitch lines in the comics but we're used to it on statues. On this PF If you look at the shirt stitching the top and undies are already sculpted in the shape of the classic costume, it's ripe for repainting.
They'd just need to get 1 D instead of the Double D.
The only question is if it will be a non limited release like X-Force Deadpool and Green Ivy, or a limited release like White costume Storm and Crimson Baroness. My guess is the former.

I agree with you I think it's a good piece, great maybe not, but good and good enough to Order for me.
As for the stitching you mentioned I think a lot of that stems from the Lee Bermejo art that was really well received when he was doing covers.

I had the com. It was good, but there was something I didn't like about it, could never put my finger on it. I ended up selling it.
Are people really pumped for a yellow variant? I've never paid much attention to the yellow costume...he only wore it for a handful of issues to start with.

I'm not ripping on the yellow...it's cool, too. He's just never worn it in my lifetime. I also like the double D logo compared to the single D.

This piece looks very stiff IMHO. I know that everyone complains about the one foot up pose, but this looks off with both feet back and together like this. I also agree that is going to be a lot of pressure on one peg.
