You could flip the image, not sure how to do that but it would achieve what you're going for.
I haven't seen any new Marvel Legends anything on the shelves. My wallmart just keeps getting in more of the Vinyl Spidey 12" figures. On top of all the figures I missed, now the X-Men figures are hitting stores with that Rouge figure and variant Rouge that I want. I just can't keep up! :slap

I know what you mean. All the new stuff I'm seeing now are the Icons, and no more Gold Iron Mans or masked Captain Americas. My Wal-Mart doesn't seem to be getting in any more exlusive wave figures either.

Thanks for the suggestion screamingmetal, I might try flipping it.

So variant Beast includes his glasses and lab coat? Who in their right mind would settle for the regular than. Its like an exclusive accessory. Well, I guess there are plenty of people that buy regular editions but I prefer complete figures. Spidey looks awesome. Not too sure about the Peter head though. Kinda looks like a young Sam Raimi.

Regular beast comes with Glasses and lab coat, the variant will be a GREY beast, with just hte lab coat no glasses.

Oh, OK. I couldn't figure out there why anyone wouldn't get the variant instead of the regular than. BTW, was Beast ever grey or is that just a variant along the lines of grey hulk no matter what artist style the figure is based on?

Like the Hulk, beast was originally Grey when he first became furry, it then changed to blue later.

So its comic accurate. I have no clue if it'll have a differe head like Hulk did, they still haven't shown it yet.

Has anyone seen the latest Icons for sale? Spiderman and Beast. I saw them picturesd in a toy magazine and it said they would be out in Oct./Nov.

Nope. The Hulk/Venom wave is just hitting my area. I picked up a Hulk but had to take him back because his leg wasn't moving like the first Capt I bought. I exchanged him for a Venom since they were out of Hulks. Very nice rendition of the character although I liked the Hulk one a lot more. :monkey2

At the minute I've got Venom and Hulk, I may buy the Spider-Man from series three in the near future though.

Excellent quality figures considering the price point and love the packaging style they come in.

Anyone know if the packaging style will continue with Hasbro, or will it be comic-less like the legends are going to be ?

I'd have to say they will change. The basic box design might remain very similar. There's not much you can do about packaging for figures this big.

Hopefully Hasbro will improve the quality on the Icon figures, I've had a few too many problems with the ones from Toy Biz.

I just liked having the comic they gave a history of the character come with it, I open, so no real loss, is the box changes.

F Yeah! Another wolverine!!!

Not much of interest for me in this series... I think the Legends line has surpassed my interests. Its been a great series, but their getting into characters I'm completely unfamiliar with.

I've been a Marvel fan almost fifteen years Galactiboy and I have to admit some of their characters are getting a bit obscure now. Mind you I'd rather that than the endless parade of crappy variant figures other Marvel 6" lines release.

Like the Spider-Man wave for example, every line has three different Spideys and only a couple of good villains.

I think regular Legends line is running out of steam though

I'm interested most in the She-Hulk figure. Thor, Blob, and Xorn are also must buys so I'll have to buy a set.
What pisses me off is that I was really looking forward to a movie Jean Grey in her Leather costume. This is really Phoenix and not Jean Grey, and not all that interesting.

I may get the bearded Thor, that's it. Aren't there tons more of interesting obscure Marvel characters? Are Wolverine and Ironman THAT popular?

C'mon, Series 17 and we STILL don't have an Adam Warlock ??!!! This series looks pretty uninspired; there are still a ton of characters I'd like to see, including Valkyrie, Son of Satan (doubtful for a kids line, I realize), Morbius (the Spidey Classics version sucked), Bucky Barnes, a classic green-trunks Sub-Mariner, and most importantly, a classic light-blue/black costumed INVISIBLE GIRL/WOMAN to finish out the classic Fantastic Four !

That Ultimate Wolverine is horrid. I like the look of the character but that toy is an easy pass. With so many awesome character designs looking at the figure selections makes me just wish SSC had a 12" Marvel license....
