Ok, I'm thinking about possibly (emphasis on possibly) getting a few of these pieces. I guess what I am asking is what are the going prices for the following and they can be just the regular version, I’m looking for the cheapest version:

  •  green HULK,
  •  Wolverine Comiquette (is that a fancy way of saying PF),
  •  Captain America
  •  Spider-Man.

Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, the only two essential peices are Hulk and Thing.

Comiquette is basically all sculpt, no cloth or other media like PFs have, thats the difference there...

Thanks, so the size of the Comiquette is PF size?

These are my estimates:

 green HULK - they seem to be on rise lately, from $600-$700
 Wolverine Comiquette - these were available for $300-$400 a month or two ago, but now seem to be $500-$600
 Captain America - I think still be able to find for $400
 Spider-Man - doesn't come up very often, and the latest ones I've seen have been around $500

You forgot about Green Goblin. I think he's overlooked.

Except for Cap, your saying they are between 500-600 a pop, that's pretty high, I guess I won't be getting all these pieces after all, or it might just be a much, much more slower process...the really cool Thor PF got me thinking about getting into this line, it look amazing in my opinion.

I jumped into this line feet first last year and now own pretty much every grail piece and almost every PF. It is without a doubt SS's best line (PF's and maquettes) Iron Man is by far the best maquette but Wolvie is a close second. Green Goblin is by far the most under rated in the PF line. Hulk is by far the most essential to any collection though.

Hulk is the must have out of the PF line in my opinion. I think the Wolvie is great too and is on the rise so if your looking to get either of these sooner is probably better.

Pretty much.. Wolvie is pretty small compared to the Hulk and Thing.. But thats probably accurate as he is a lil guy in the comics as well..

The Logan PF is way to big comparing them to the other PFs. If you're a wolverine fan, the comiquette is MUST have. Its the best wolverine statue to date by any company. The price seems to be rising slowly.

Marvel is where its at....just expect to pay lot of $$$....

Yeah, that's what scares me, the ones I listed are must have's if I'm to get into line, any chance they will revist any of the ones they have already made. Has sideshow ever said anything in regards to that? Thank you all for the advise, I now wish I had kept my HULK pre-order back in '05 I think it was during SDCC. Oh well, live and learn. I don't see too many Marvel PF's listed on Ebay, is that a usual thing, it seems Marvel PF's compared to SW PF's hold there value and then some.

The Doom PF should definitely be on your list. :D But the prices on these things at this point are pretty unreasonable. Sideshow probably won't revisit most of the ones on your list. If you only get one Marvel PF I would suggest the HUlk.

For me, Hulk and Cap would be at the top of the list. I own Spidey and Green Goblin as well, with Thing, Red Skull, and Thor pre-ordered (damn split-shipment Thing exclusive!! ). I'd like to own Doom someday, but it seems the regular version rarely pops up on ebay; the exclusive has been offered more frequently, but goes for $600-800 more than the regular, which I have a tough time justifying for a cup and pedestal. Good hunting!

i feel lucky to get hulk for such a reasonable price :chew i thought $400 was a bit pricey but didnt realize the price on this is skyrocketing. anywayz, if you get a hulk, you won't regret it. my next goal is a doom PF. someday i'll be able to afford it :monkey2

I'd be all over the Marvel PF line if the past releases weren't so expensive!

:lecture

Yup, hands down the BEST Marvel PF.

Closely followed by The Thing and Hulk for me.

I think you can take out the word Marvel and still be correct. If you've never seen it in person, you just have no idea what you're missing.
