Mixed feelings about this show. It grew on me towards the end. However, the parts that dragged for me in the beginning made the show feel rushed towards the end. Maybe 1 more episode would have helped in pacing a bit more. Absolutely loved Oscar though.
Well Spector/Lockley/Grant was always based in New York. The filmmakers wanted him out of NY and in other locales. They might be still in London if that building is supposed to be the London Gherkin. Lockley might be Spanish based like how Grant is British.
Meh. It should've been a movie. I can even guess how S2 will go.
Jake/Khonshu will be antagonists to Marc/Steve as the first 3-4 episodes are a slog, Layla will keep being a super-hero, Bushman will start really screwing things up by the middle of the season and they'll all team up to take him out. Midnight Sons tease at the end.
I'll get the Mr. Knight look now if they make it, and hope
they give Jake the black-&-white suit. I'm getting the feeling Jake's the "amoral" personality that just enjoys killing and became a private contractor after Marc's fallout with Bushman, hence why his suit will be more tacticool.

After DS2 I think they're gearing up for the last MCU decade. They can't keep it going for longer. MK will get another season and feed into MS and that'll be it. Blade will get a film before MS, and maybe one after. GR will get introduced in MS and maybe get a series next. All of them will be the random stuff they have to churn out while they throw their focus on FF/XM with Strange as the connective tissue and Spider-Man moving on with another trilogy. All ending in a Secret Wars adaptation. Around 2034 they'll it end it entirely. They're putting out 3-4 movies and 2-3 shows per year now, they can get through all of them before the GA is truly done with it all.

People really look forward to Marvel content and there is plenty left. If people are still sniffing the disappointing SW garbage, Marvel will have a long shelf life. They are keeping the theaters alive and is really the only content I care for along with Batman.
X-Men will have two decades of content. So many members and so many stories. After Spiderman, Wolverine is the most popular Marvel character and X-Men easily the most popular team. Feige will change it up some too. Then alongside a decade of F4 conrent.
Might take a few more years to get a Midnight Sons going. Looking like Blade is the connective tissue for that. A lot of mythology to get to for Marvel. Where is my Ghost Rider dammit?
Now just another day and a half of avoiding DS2 spoilers...

Yeah well, I'm tired now. Good luck finding 30 YOs that will be able to play Cyclops in their 50s too... They burn through things faster than in comic arc terms, they're not going to be hanging on until 2045 with 3-4 films per year.
Whatever happens, I'll just get the dolls that'll come out within the decade and then I'm out. When Doom gets his last movie appearance, and I've gotten a doll of most of my favourites, I'm done. The GA is getting tired now, I don't think 30 years of continuity to watch a capeflick will work. For Reed and Doom they'll need guys in their 40s. For Xavier and Magneto the same. You think they'll get them to sign playing dress up well into their 60s? Brit actors are the only ones who are up for this, maybe, as they're mercs and don't care about the job as long as it pays and they can do theatre in their spare time, hence Cumberbatch staying on for longer than others. But most will be like Downey, who wanted to leave by the time of IM3 and only stayed for the money. Hemsworth didn't luck out with a career so he's staying on for the cash. But I just can't see them going past another decade. They'll build up to Secret Wars and that'll be it. Then a reboot 5 or so years later with a different approach.
We'll see anyhow. MK is getting his second season at least, this much is evident from how this episode ended.

With J.J. Abrams claws into DC now, all I can enjoy is Marvel and Battinson. And that's half of Marvel at the most. MK and Strange is the territory I like to be in. The MS squad I hope continues to say in the weird as it should.
Brw, why does D+ keep wanting me to watch the Eternals once I am done with a show/movie? They suck dammit!

I'm not all in on Battinson myself. I like Batman for the Gothic aspects, and he's just noir-ish. Honestly, I'm tired of the majority of pop culture. I just want to get my dolls. But it's getting more and more apparent by the day that I'll get maybe 50% of what I want, if I'm lucky, and tons of costume variations of the bigger names. Eh, it is what it is I guess. But it hurts that my "Bat-Shelf" will be just Batman, maybe a Joker and a Scarecrow, while I'll never get a proper Ras or Azrael. At least I'll end up with 5 different Dooms...
I have some hope that FF & XM will revitalise my interest, but I'm not expecting much. I'm mostly out of the cape game now, so the only thing keeping me interested is my general taste for Sci-Fi/Space Operas, hence why I'm still waiting for the FF & XM. MS are long past for me, as I've grown tired of that particular aesthetic. I'd rather a good gothic and atmospheric Hellboy adaptation or something. I'll stick with just GR & MK + Dracula and maybe Dane because I like armours and knights. I'm not into the 90s grunge and such anymore. Even if I like vampires, I'm skipping Blade and Morbius. Call me when someone makes Lestat & Louis figures...
I'd buy them in a heartbeat, but we both know they'll never happen. It has become a sort of classic though, so who knows. American Psycho got a figure, as did Fight Club. So maybe one day, at random, 6 years from now, we'll be rushing to PO Louis & Lestat and build our own display of our favourite platonic vampire Brad Pitt & Tom Cruise in fluffy clothing dollies!
...Sometimes I feel really weird when reading the things I type in this place.
PS: I liked this bit from the episode.
She'd make for a pretty cool figure, but it'll never happen.
