iron man is only in this for more ticket sales. Spiderman is here to prove himself as a real hero so he's taking them down himself. If not then that would suck.

Perhaps the Sokovia Accords will play into this. Tony tells Peter not to worry about the Vulture because there are people that handle that sort of thing, but then neither Iron Man or any other hero shows up to help because they weren't granted permission to intervene, leaving him to deal with Vulture by himself. Cue Spiderman losing faith in Tony and the Avengers and acting on his own. Becomes a vigilante in New York city by acting outside of the Accords and the current newspaper begins a smear campaign against him often calling him a menace.

I agree; I'm hoping we see most of IronMan/Stark appearance in the preview. Do not want to see MCU tank Spidey in his first movie.

I'm fine with anyone in the role besides Toby, although I loved the aesthetic and his is probably still my favorite suit to date, I never liked Toby as Parker. I think ASM2 was probably the best balance between suit and Parker. The Stark tuned suit is cool and at least has a reason for looking so advanced (as compared to plain cloth) but I'd definitely place it behind the Spidey suit and the ASM2 suit.

Can't wait to see this Peter get the Iron Spider suit for his High School graduation gift from Tony.

I can see the John Hughes influence the director talked about. Peter likes that other chick that doesn't even like him while he ignores Cisco from Flash, but at the Homecoming dance, Cisco will be all hawt and Peter will dance with her like in the Breakfast Club, when the goth chick with the terrible dandruff becomes hot and Emilio Estevez finally sees the most important thing, her outer beauty

Totally UNDERwhelmed by the teaser- I was hoping for something closer to the Ditko era fun and kinda goofy stuff- instead we get a major ho-hum villian and Spidey pulling Superman feats with Lucious (Tony) giving him stuff

Superman feats? The boat right? If it were superman he'd have the boat back together in no time. Clearly Spider-Man is struggling to put it together. Looks like he is trying to hold it so that people can escape.
