Avi arad was the one who didn't want wolverine to cameo in the first spiderman movie. Instead of making spiderman 4 they rebooted. All they needed to do was make a better story and listen to raimi.

I'm actually happy Wolverine didn't cameo in Spiderman, what would that have possible added to the movie?

Raimi himself said they couldn't come up with a good story for 4, he wasn't happy with the script so he told Sony he wasn't going to do it. How is that the producers fault?

Bruh, ASM1 is a great movie. You're absurd obsession with ASM2 makes you sound absurd. Its one bad movie.

I'm watching Arad's latest - Ghost in The Shell tomorrow. I'm confident that even if I come in here and say its riveting, the dude won't stop hating Avi for the crime that was ASM2. Even if he himself watches GITS and loves it.

Raimi wasn't satisfied with the script, and bailed on the project, Toby and Kirsten said they'd only come back with Raimi directing and since he bailed, reboot was the only thing that made sense. Hell, Sony was throwing truckloads of money at all 3 of them to return, Toby was set to make 50 million to return.

Who cares if he had no buissness being in it. This is before all the studio franchise crap. this was the early 2000s, the start of the superhero franchise . If you didn't want to see wolverine make a small cameo back then then ..... wow.

I try to make a point to enforce it pretty heavily once a film is released so that people can hopefully have a nice discussion about what they saw but not as much during pre-release speculation.
