My bad. I get passionate about spidey

Nah mate, I wasn't referring to you. They know... Discussioms should generally be "civilized", but when folks come in here full-on, throbbing boners prepared to hate, well... 4chan has more salt than a salt mine and it's hard as hell to navigate the site and get past those guys.

To be honest, this ain't close to being as bad as DC Thread and you, along with myself and many others have stated our opinions as fact in those threads as well. I don't know what the difference is here.

Dislike is one thing, constant bashing is another. I said my piece when SKWAD came out, and even then, I engaged in the discussion about the good things (Smithshot, The Wall, etc). When BvS came out I wrote a damn lengthy review. And for the record, I never state my opinions as fact, and I always back them with reasons. If you're referring to the memes and whatnot, they're memes, they're not meant to be taken seriously.

I mean, I don't see myself dropping into the JL thread to say "man, Snyder is a creatively bankrupt cuck and I'm sure JL is gonna be worse than horse**** on a hot day, not to mention that I hope Schumacher takes back the rains of Batman". Do it once, it's your opinion. Do it twice, you're mildly annoying. Do it every day, and you're just repeating the same **** for no reason.

Besides, I don't give two ****s about Homecoming outside of Keaton. I'm more excited about JL. It just gives me a headache navigating past 10 pages filled with the same ******** comments because some folks have nothing better to do than log in and hate like there's no tomorrow, while treating their POVs as the Constitution and everyone else like peasants.

I never understood commenting to drop hate, and I'll always dislike it. If you have nothing good, or at least constructive to say, it's best you stick with the things you like. That's what I do anyway...

But obviously those comments are opinions, I don't know why people have to say that just to please others.

These are discussion boards, some of the most legendary posts have been bashing posts (Difabio's TDKR's posts), Snikt posts are pretty damn entertaining, Crows turning his back on BvS or tearing down AOU etc...

I notice only when people are critiquing an MCU or Star Wars film on here members become real defensive. What else is there to discuss about this movie anyway outside of the trailer? You either like it or you don't and both sides should be able to comment on that.

I don't know what everyone is on about, just be happy we won't have to cringe at a **** movie like this.

I have to ****ing squint, squint, to handle the cringe that is SM3.

"I didn't care about this film 'cause of X, Y..." VS "I haven't seen this, but I just know, and it's a fact, that it'll suck, and that maybe-gonna-happen movie about -Listers from a bankrupt studio is gonna be better 'cause I said so". They're different IMO.

Maybe for you. But I have no interest in 10+ pages of a throbbing rage boner against Feige/MCU/Whatever. I don't give a **** whether it alligns or it doesn't with my views. It's just the same old song.

Eh, I notice that more with the DCEU. Soon as you say something, come the same people "OMG, the DCEU hate is real". People should, and will comment whatever the **** they want. But like they have the right to be annoying ****s, I have the right to say how annoyed I am by having to read 10 pages to keep up, and 7 of them being the same ****.

I don't even like the MCU as a whole 'cause it has destroyed the comic side of Marvel. But I don't ramp up my post count with the same comment over and over.

But you do that :lol

A majority of your posts in the past few weeks have been rants on the PC culture in Hollywood. It's in almost every thread you comment on, then you follow that up with images of the comics, and tell us how blacks need to stop crying about this and that, even Evilface has made comments about our repetitive posts. We all do it here, we're all pretty known for doing the same stuff. I fully expect for Jye to be excited for the next MCU movie, and Khev to defend the next Star Wars movie, and Difabio to **** on the next Star Wars movie, riddick to hate on every movie except some weird movie nobody cares about etc...

We all do the same **** in here everyday, Snikt has his thing, that's it's SSF persona, who cares?

Eh, I notice that more with the DCEU. Soon as you say something, come the same people "OMG, the DCEU hate is real".

Agreed, but on the same note you also have DCEU haters who say the exact opposite- and threadcrap those certain threads for the same reason.

Apples and Oranges.

In the DCEU thread, members like Spindrift (an obvious DC apologist) will make snarky or pretentious comments but I don't see him or other members genuinely hurt by comments to the point they'll remind everyone of the threadcrapping rule.

Even Gasper can be snarky when it comes to BvS but he roles with the punches just fine in those threads. People seem to be trying to create a safe space for their Marvel and Star Wars films.

Eh, call me out on that, I don't really mind. And honestly, twas just a funny comment, since he asked for sources and then completely ignored them. I've learned to bypass the rants. 'Cause when you say "Peter was never Sark's protege, but Feige gonna blahblablah", then you get scans precisely of that, and ignore them, then, well, you're being a poor player. I mean, twas clearly more on the "tongue in cheek" side, what with the all caps and all. Everyone's free to post whatever the **** they want, I don't really give a crap.

Spider-Man 3 > Suicide Squad

No really, I'm serious.

Eh, fair enough. But the MCU threads are never "safe spaces". I can't comment on the SW stuff 'cause I rarely go there.

PS: Like I said, twas not a threadcrapping issue. The BvS thread is over what, 4k pages long? Twas just a reference to the Peter/Tony thing being canon in the books.

PS2: If you think the forum's too Pro-MCU, go to 4chan. Those bois do nothing but praise DC, call everyone cucks, detest non-Anglo-Saxons and post memes about the MCU.

I actually assumed that you guys find sick pleasure in going back and forth with SNIKT. He doesn't bother me because I don't see him crapping threads *after* a movie comes out. For instance he didn't care for RO, made his points stating why, but then I don't know that I've seen him in that thread since. His comments about thinking Cap should have died in CW and so forth never seemed to taint that thread either and simply facilitated some lively debate (and I'm saying this as both a Marvel and SW guy.) And I don't mean to call out SNIKT1950 specifically, just using one example. Are you guys really put off by pre-release threadcrapping? I'm not saying that I'll start censoring posts but I am curious as to what the consensus is.

I just don't want to see what happened in the Suicide Squad thread repeat itself with every movie. If we restrict debates before a movie comes out (even if they are broken records) then what will you guys talk about?
