I watched Spiderman 1 last night (the Tobey one)... its really quite silly. More so than I remember. Some cringe-worthy acting, particularly from Franco. I think it seemed refreshing in its day, but its not something I'll ever watch again.

I think this Spiderman will be the definitive Spiderman... like it or not.

I thought the movie was pretty fun, but I still prefer the Raimi trilogy tbh. I really, really want to see what they do with a sequel for this, especially with

Scorpion.

I'm happy with the way they're taking this, even though I'm not a fan of how certain characters were handled. Keaton was a really good villain, and I thought his twist was fun. Holland did a great job. Glad we got a self contained story and didn't have Infinity Stones shoved up the ass.

Will see again with The Boys.

Loved every minute.
Glad to see Pepper make a comeback
Glad this is our new spidey!

Fun movie, that after the credit's scene was great. I can't believe people still get up and walk out before the credit's roll.

Just returned.

Since WW is the best WB has to offer they still have a long way to go before catching up to the quality on display here.

Finally a Spidey movie that beats out Spiderman 1/2.

Don't get me wrong I like Raimi's first 2 movies they were charming due to their simplicity but I never thought they were perfect.

This is the best big movie of 2017 so far, I consider Logan a much smaller movie.

I really only had 1 problem with this movie and that was with the use of the word PORN in a Spiderman movie was that really necessary with all the kids that are going to be watching this. The joke wasn't even funny so using that word was wasted while still causing problems.

My son as well as the kids behind me asked what porn meant.

Very stupid move by Marvel and Sony to put that in there and i'm no prude.

Other than that the big final battle was very difficult to follow because it took place at night with fast cuts and character movements.

Who would've ever thought a silly looking comic book villain would be one of the best in the MCU go figure.

Great ending before going to the credits loved it.

A minor inconsistency that kinda bothered me...
It was stated that this took place 8 years after The Avengers, but in Civil War, Vision said it had been 8 years since Tony announced himself as Iron Man. Since this is only a couple months after CW, wtf!? lol
Not a big deal but that's how my brain works:lol

I'm still trying to figure out
if this was pre CW break up with Pepper Potts or did they get back together after CW, i'm going with the latter.

Hmmmm...

Should I pay for this movie this weekend... or see it for free at screening on Monday? Is it truly outstanding? Be honest. Is 3D good?

Definately worth the 3D price of admission.

Just got out. Movie was great!!! Keaton was great as vulture and I think they got just the right amount of Iron Man in it. Zendaya was dreadful. Unfortunate we will probably see more of her lame one liners delivered half awake/stoned. Aside from that I thought it was the best Spider Man has been done since 2.
