I don't know, I mean, I buy the fact that he has all this tech, because Peter is a very smart cookie, what I don't buy is the design, not that is good, but it's intricate and slick, what teenager would design something like this? I mean, it IS a super ****** costume, but it's professionally ****** doesn't look like it was made by a teenager.

The only costume that looked like it was made by a teenager was this one.

The new costume with the round eyes and utility belt reminds me of this professionally ***** costume.

THIS WEEK: What do you mean there are no more Marvel movies this year? You mean I HAVE TO START DOING REPORTING AGAIN?!?!?! JEEZ. OK THEN.

THIS COLUMN HAS BEEN UPDATED SINCE IT'S ORIGINAL POSTING.

It’s been a long road, like the Wiz Kalifa kind, with Spider-Man reporting. Y’all might have noticed I took a few weeks off and let other people take point once the Tom Holland-ness of it all took over. I’m still convinced Asa Butterfield was telling people he was Spider-Man way past when he should have been and I’m very confident Dylan O’Brien wasn’t in the running past when I said he was out of the running (for being TOO OLD).

Outside of that, my ear-to-the-Spidey-ground was removed from said ground while we waited for more information. We knew more information was coming because Spider-Man is on set somewhere in Atlanta for the shooting of Captain America: Civil War. Because he’s there, that means a costume is there. Because a costume is there, that means the new world of Spidey is being built.

Let’s cover some Spider-Man stuff from most likely to be true to least likely to be true, but it’s all rumor and it’s all interesting.
First up: what’s Spider-Man going to look like?

You might have caught this weekend’s crazy Spider-Man theory, floated by Birth Movies Death and shot down by James Gunn: that the Russo Brothers, currently directing Civil War, have a secret Twitter account where they are tweeting things from set.

The circumstantial evidence is strong for scoop hunters. Is this a close up of the Sokovia Accords that we heard mentioned at the end of Ant-Man?

Well, if the suit actually looks like the concept art in Snoopy's link then I like it, but if it looks like the other one that deepthroat leaked then yikes.

Nah no I don't think so . That's definitely not what he's going to look like. I refuse to believe that. That looks to ****ing awful it might as well be a ripoff design.

Yea I'm gonna wait for official word.

I like the costume. Doesn't look like Spiderman but I like it. Same can be said for that 2099 future Spiderman.

Seriously this is why people always say Latino Review is full of ****.

This which they are saying is the film concept:

is from 2012. and an original design from this artist.

Spider-Man screenwriters John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein were at the premiere of Vacation, which they wrote and directed, and said the tone of the Marvel reboot will be different from the character's previous feature film iterations.

"The main difference I think is the tone will be really grounded, about a real kid who gets these powers and what that means to a geeky, outcast kid and how he deals with them," Goldenstein told USA Today. "You don't instantly become a superhero, it's a long journey." Daley added, "It's spending a lot more time in the high school. And so we have time to sort of develop the powers with him and experience the wish fulfillment. And also just the fact that it is really alienating to other people."

I know, I clicked the link in Snoopy's post the LR article itself gives a link to the artist DA page.

It's pretty obvious to anyone that's not legit concept art, but if it looks like that, I like it times 100 compared to the supposedly leaked one.
