As far as Downey goes, I think it'd be hilarious if Tony was Aunt May's new boyfriend.
Prequel spinoff, baby

Keaton's loss. This would have gotten him a nice paycheck and more opportunities. He would have been a great Norman Osborn.
I love the buildup to a new appearance though. New suits, new footage, and RDJ is just awesome at marketing himself as Tony.
This year's SDCC will be awesome!
If Marvel actually goes, word is the Marvel brand might move to the Disney convention and leave SDCC.

Why can't Iron Man just go **** off? I can't be the only one that is sick of his character. He's overstayed his welcome at this point. Never thought I'f see the day where Iron Man would need to be shoehorned into a SPIDER-MAN movie. What a weird time where Iron Man is the A listing king of comic book superheroes.

It will also solve a little bit of 'where were the other guys?-itis'.

This is my whole guess:
Cap dies in CW, and Tony is the new head of S.H.I.E.L.D. or along with Fury. And both interact with Spidey like the shows. Just uses him when he's in the area. I doubt we will see Iron Man in any capacity after CW
Tim Burton directed Batman Beyond with Keaton, that'd be awesome as hell.
